@EatNowCryLater thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question. I thought it would affect the consistency of the dough-LOL. I have no experience in baking or cooking but your video is so inspiring that you made it really look "easy". Slowly I am building up some courage to try it...so today i went to WalMart & bought the ingredients but I was confused with the French Vanilla Pudding. Is it the powdered type like Jell-O brand? or the pudding in cups ready to eat?
@smileyx0x0 For 2 reasons...First because my mixing bowl was already in the freezer being left to chill for whipping cream and secondly, because I just used the stainless steel pot to make the dough while it was on the stove beforehand and see no point in transferring it to another mixing bowl to dirty another thing that I'll have to clean later. :)
to be honest i look at all these videos and i look at all their shells and yours is the best that came out at the moment (For video 1 and 2) Keep it up! (:
@adventurous1100 Oh wow, thank you so much for that comment! I'm glad you liked them. Thank you soooo much for watching! I hope you have an awesome weekend! :)
great...I really love how you do your tutorial..you know I never cook before this, so when I want to try but because I don't know the right way to do it..I failed so many times..so, keep showing the tutorial just like this, okay..^__^ maybe for someone who always go the kicthen they know what are you talking about, but, for me, who not always go to the kitchen, I really need help something like this..I will try to find the ingredient tomorrow and start to do it..
@dyla2621 Aww...thank you! I really appreciate the awesome feedback! I hope you do try this recipe out and please let me know how it turns out for you! Good luck, new friend! :)
@EatNowCryLater well..maybe because I don't get full ingredient..so i'm sorry..i'm failed to do it..i don't know where I should get INSTANT french vanilla pudding and can I know what type of flour did you use..hehe..what is the difference between french vanilla pudding and vanilla buddy??
@dyla2621 i use a presifted all purpose flour and you should be able to find instant french vanilla pudding in most stores?? you can use instant vanilla pudding as a substitute, but it will taste slightly different. the filling is what makes the difference...its kind of hard to explain in terms of french vanilla pudding vs. vanilla pudding...it's almost slightly sweeter and has more of a stronger taste of vanilla in the pudding?? I hope you try the recipe again..practice makes perfect!! :)
@EatNowCryLater ok i will try again...^__^ for whipping cream...can i use the whipping light cream instead making the whipping cream..is there any difference between those two??
@dyla2621 Ohh my, dyla I didn't even see this question, so sorry for the late response! But you can use regular whipping cream. That's fine. Heavy whipping cream has a higher butterfat ratio and depending on where you are from, the percentage may differ.
@EatNowCryLater oh...I'm so glad to know that..thanks..but I'm sorry I still did not have time to try to make this cream puff. During my semester break, I will absolutely try to do this
nice vid.. wanna ask something,a cup of butter is approximately how mny grams?
ABIDAHARAF 1 month ago
@ABIDAHARAF One cup of butter should be roughly 225 grams. Give or take 25 grams is okay as well. Hope that helps!

You can use whatever filling you'd like! Although I've fiddled with it a bit as well and find that it tastes best with the french vanilla flavor.
Are you asking me the weight of the filling used?? One small box equals 3.4 ounces. Hope that helps!
EatNowCryLater 2 months ago
Isit okay if i use strawberry flavoured pudding instead? And wads e mass of your pudding? Cos e one im looking at is in a bag and not a box.

Just curious...why didn't u use ur Kitchen Aid stand mixer on your dough but you used it when you did the cream for the filling mixture?
