no, the video doesnt suck itself, but the game transition to gameboy was, and come on, you cant actually like the voice acting there..
I've seen the original version. The game appearance seems different entirely, and since it's a remake pretty much from the snes to the gba, even the voices are going to be updated, whether for better or worse. XD
