I've tried crowning her a few times not for the achievement but because I needed to get past her as she's blocking my route, I've tried and failed many times but after watching your video and listening to the explanation I decided to give it another shot, crowned twice in my first game :0

Just goes to show that with the right advice it can be done quite easily, at least I don't have to sneak past her anymore or hope someone else shoots her ;)

on normal difficulty and in versus, a single shot to the body from any shotgun kills it. on expert just land 3-5 quick bodyshots with autoshotgun. if you have only pumpshotguns, try avoiding her if you can, trying to headshot on expert is very dangerous.

I really hope that after your video a few more players won't be scared of witches anymore.

Because when there is only on person with shotgun in party and he asks you to throw a molotov at her if the encounter is unavoidable... well, it's really hard to encourage these people to go and shoot her, or even just run past her one by one...

Dude, how do you capture in-game sounds, audio AND your own talking?XD

I used Fraps for the vid and in-game sound. For voice, I used voice_loopback, which, well, loops back your own voice when you use in-game voice chat. It's a quick hack to transform my talking into in-game sound.

The quality is meh, as you could probably tell. My voice cuts in and out at times, and it's difficult to hear me whenever I shoot. I need to find a better solution, but at least this method keeps things simple.

Crowning is the action, it has no relation to the achievement. Your idea of what the achievement is supposed to be a pun of, is your own personal idea. I will continue to call it crowning the witch, because that is what I am actually doing.
