Looks like a great video but the rental does not work. Can watch about 10 minutes of the video and it stops. The viewer is taken back to the main You Tube page. Problem!!! Internet speed is all good. Tried several browsers. No go. Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem.
So much for the You Tube Rentals working. RENTER BEWARE.
@MrBollinj That's a bummer. It's not our fault, but we'll happily get you a free download of the film. Just go to our film's website - ride the divide movie dot com - and shoot us a note and we'll get you a free HD download.
I paid my money and have been trying all day to watch the $!#* film, but the playback is awful!!! It freezes every twenty seconds for twenty or thirty seconds. It's taken me over an hour to watch 16 minutes. I've reloaded the movie, restarted my browser, restarted my computer, nothing has helped. I watch Hulu and YouTube for free everyday, no problems, so how come the first time I pay for a freakin' video, it's like 2005 all over again? The worst thing is I REALLY WANTED TO SEE THIS FILM!!!
I love these films and stories. Most of all I love all the people involved and the stories that go with them. Thank you all for sharing this with us! So very inspirational.
I had a wreck on my bike 2 weeks ago and had stitches in my knee that prevented me from riding for a while, but now I realize it is mostly that I have developed some fear of riding because of the crash. Now, I think I will go for a ride!

Back on a road bike again at 57 after a 35 year hiatus and beating down stage IV cancer this year doing longer distance road rides where the challenge becomes finishing the ride. I can appreciate how extremely difficult this race is, and it would be even if it weren't a race but simply a tour to finish. The story in it for me is about taking on an arduous, very demanding goal and finding one's way through all the technical, physical and mental challenges to complete it.
I really enjoyed this documentary. I am not into riding mountain bikes but I found this inspirational. It really makes me want to do the things I have always wanted to do but have just found every excuse not to go out and grab it. Well done to all that ran the race and put this documentary.

@IakonaWayne That's Tandy. The song is Home. I think it's the only song not on the soundtrack. Tandy didn't want to be on it based on the terms. Great music though and they are on iTunes.

What a great race. A friend and I hike the Continental Divide 33 years ago. We tried to stay as high up and close to the divide as possible. It took us 10 months. Really cool to see it again!!
outstanding film, you guys did a great job. The power of the human spirit and the emotions that the racers went through is truly amazing. If you have every tried an endurace event you can relate to the feelings expressed by these athletes. Thanks for posting, I really enjoyed the journey :)

Truly insiring stuff! Makes me wish two things...that my back wasn't wrecked and that my brother Sean was still around (he passed from cancer this January, three days after his 50th birthday)...I could see both of us making the ride, we used to do the MS Run from Philly to A.C. when we were younger! I so much enjoyed this documentary. 6am drinking my tea watching this took me to parallel emotions. I admire Mary. True to herself and revamping was enlightening. Mike's heart came to the surface and I can see him coming back with new perspective. Mathew fortitude, fortitude. Real understanding about endurance or sticktuvness. Baby Henry, Matthew will be a fine dad. I don't even ride a bike but hey life is life. What ever takes to come with yourself.
this is an excellent video! I loved seeing nature at its best and I also liked hearing the stories of the individual riders. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Very nice documentary - endurance is amazing. That said, I would like to do it as a road trip. Snow tricky... but season timing might work. Must map it out.
Good job! You are amazing and wonderful people...Felicitari Adrian, sunt mandru ca sunt roman cand vad oameni ca tine! Bravo tie...o inceput sa-mi tremure pieptul de bucurie cand am vazut ca scrie Adrian Stangaciu pe monitor....Bravo tie!
this movie is great, i really like it. in some ways it feels familiar; i done similar things; however, this is an extreme chalenge. it takes lots of courage to finish. one day i will... ride the divide.
Hey guys n girls - why don't you all just download it via real player .
When you wake the next day , took 3-4 hours , you can enjoy the ride seamlessly.

Very nice documentary - endurance is amazing. That said, I would like to do it as a road trip. Snow tricky... but season timing might work. Must map it out.
