@ncrdisabled Snow doesn't stay on the unit honestly. I only shovel out the sides as it seems to press in kind of hard. I don't think the unit would fall due to snow load, just eventually become deformed.
I'd like to cut the side posts so the garage is about 24 inches lower in height for aestetic reasons for a small car. Any issues you see with cutting the side posts down and wrapping the tarp cover sections underneath the side rails?
@guardsman322 Yes, I think their would be without lots of modification to the tarp. First the tarp is cut just right with grommets along the sides for the little bungees to hold the whole thing down tight. If you fix that problem, the second are the ends which contain the rope and what keep the tarp really on the building. They too would need to be adjusted correctly. You could do it, no doubt, its just up to you if it's worth it.
I just found this video and would like to know what is the snow load of this unit ?
I need one to handle snow as I am disabled and unable to remove the snow from the top.

Excellent instructions and much better than the silly drawings that come with it. Thanks!
