I don't need to defend this project of hers because it is not mine to defend, but I don't think she's dumb at all musicaly, infact thats a very closed minded opinion. It is simply fun. Fortunately for you she has other albums to satisfy your intellect. Maybe check out the Grammy nominated Live at Carnegie Hall.
