  • yeah i'd do her

  • @Codesdecoded You are wrong, go look at the facts. It is not an issue.

  • Thank you for the upload. Kindly regards from germany to those who understand. Trees are so wonderful. Love to Julia, we miss you.

  • This lady is retarded. There is nothing wrong with logging. There is as much forest coverage today as there was 100 years ago, that is an indisputable fact so do not disagree lefties as facts cannot be disputed.

  • i hope Luna is doing okay!

  • It`s easy to lump her into a criticism charged stereotype but at the end of the day, how many people who criticize her would have the balls to stand up for a meaningful cause? It takes real inspiration to see past your own little world and sacrifice everything for something outside of the world you live in.

  • I spontaneously cried watching this and am not ashamed to admit it.

  • @zezt how dare you!

  • I'm John Caterpillar and I'd like to have an encounter with Julia Butterfly. I have a feeling we'll match.

  • twochordcool: Non-violent activism can be a powerful force to be reckoned with. The whole principle of non-violence causes us to be creative in our strategies, rather than resulting to a base pattern of destruction. Read some Ghandi.

  • This precious soul has a call to all to make our lives clearer, bolder and more unique.

  • She's so right when she says "symbols are often attacked for what they stand for." so true. Luna is a symbol of what what one spirit can do. The statue of Liberty is a symbol of what America stands for.

  • Agreed with everything she did, does and stands for BUT I find her too passive - she's right and shouldn't give in an inch. I wonder if she has ever converted anyone to her way of thinking. Liberals and environmentalists are generally peaceful but I'm afraid they also get pushed over being that way. 97% of the virgin Redwood forest is GONE. Why should there be ANY negotiation over the remaining 3%?

  • @twochordcool The Redwoodforest is cut down by more than 99 percent today. I tried to put this issue on the ballot for California. We stood in front of stores and less than 5 percent of people signed the petition. Julia Hill initiated this petition. I flew over the Redwoodforest from San Francisco to Crescent City and I saw the clear cut open areas. I totally agree with you, there should not be any negotiations over whether to clear cut or not. Not one more tree can be logged. This is serious.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest Why did so few people want to sign the petition? They couldn't be bothered? Or were they against the protection of the Redwoods?

Thanks for what you do. I'm in the northeast so it's hard for me to help - I can only try to tell people about it.

  • @twochordcool Thank you for your activism. We helped in LA to petition on the streets to collect enough signatures to get the protection of the Redwoodforest on the the actual voting ballot. Very few people signed. Most people ignored us even though they heard us say "Would you like to sign to protect the Redwoodforest". Some people laughed about me, one lady got mad at me yelling at me for what I was doing. I was looked at with amusement and often with anger. Most people are not aware.

  • Julia, your observations are so accurate in this video! Not from the standpoint of some physics law that says "focus on negative and negative will result" but instead from the standpoint of observing a behavior or experience that is repeatable in our lives. This is the same message carried forth in "You Can Heal Your Life" and my life is living proof that positive intentions have positive outcomes manifest in this world. Thank you! Look me up next time you visit the DC area!

  • I love how she's connecting our consciousness to the entire movement. I'd rather focus on what we can do and how we want things to be instead of all of the devastation that's going on. Also, she mentions COMMUNICATION which is so very important. It makes me think of the book NON-VIOLENT COMMUNCATION by Marshall Rosenberg. I think that the study and practice of the principles in the book could so help the movement even more. Thank you Ms. Julie Hill!!!

  • Sharing love and peace is always the most useful & productive action.

Thanks Julia for sharing your love with us!

    :o)

  • we are trained from an early age to scrutinize and look for differences and remove ourselves from others. we just need to learn to develop the opposite muscle and connect. It is good that you could stand your ground and find commonality without sacrificing your view. Nice including muscles!

  • Hello Julia

    Great vlogg

    Thanks omega

  • Thanks for this. I will save it to my favorites.
