Here's the thing. I would buy the "Navigate This Maze" DVD, but I'm told it's not for sale. Given Bare's current popularity in this "it gets better" world, I'm sure demand is there for this. They won't make more?

I don't care about Christopher being too femme, but I agree that as actors, and yes, this is a musical PLAY, Michael Arden and esp. Aaron Lohr performed the parts better. Matt Doyle is amazing, and cute and sounds like an angel, but that proffesionalism kassiehp0593 mentions is why he doesn't work for me, Peter is more true to himself, yes, but that doesn't mean he's got it all figured out, not by a long shot. Michael Arden portrays that awkward uncertainty. Matt's See Me is better, however.

In truth, "You and I", "Role of a Lifetime" and "Are You There" are my three favorite songs by far. I just love the guys' voices. Christopher Johnson is amazing and I love him! :D

They all have really great voices and from the documentary they really show their characters even though their just in a studio.

I agree, in fact I think Christopher Johnson's voice works for Matt, as does his look because to me Matt should be attractive but in a slightly awkward way. As for Matt Doyle, I just adore him

There's no need to say that Matt Doyle is brilliant- that fact is pretty universally accepted. True, Michael Arden originated the role, but I think that Matt brings a proffesionalism and honesty to the role of Peter that was not accomplished by Arden. As for Christopher Johnson, I know a lot of people believe he is too 'feminine' for Matt's character and if this was on a stage I would agree, however, vocally I think Doyle and Johnson sound very good together, while Lohr might have blended in.

Michael Arden is great, yes. I can feel the pain when I see the clips of him singing/acting it out......but when I listen to the CD and Matt Doyle singing, "Absolution", I feel what he's saying without needing to see him act it out. He's just amazing. A-MAZING.

As much as adore Matt and think he did a fantastic job on the recording, Are You There is one of those songs I still kinda always revert back to the sampler CD for. There's just something about Michael Arden's voice (and Aaron Lohr's too for that matter) in that song. It's ridic. But Matt and Christopher really did do a great job! I'm just biased lol. Role of a Lifetime, though, is GORGEOUS. I love Matt's version so much :)

I BELIEVE that only IVY, Jason's sister (I blanked on the character's name) and the Sister are the original LA production.
