Very true about the airport security anymore. I was just in the Philippines, and coming back, I had to go through three security checks to get on the plane home. On the last security check (right at the gate!) I had just bought a bottle of water, and the woman at the gate told me that I wouldn't be allowed to bring that aboard. I agree, Airport Security is over the top. In fact, it has been ever since 9/11 and 7/7. I've had experiences in Airport security where I've had to take my trainers off before going through the Metal Detector. And after going through the Metal Detector, I always seem to get frisked for some reason. I wasn't even carrying anything in my pockets. They're so damn paranoid.
