Why look towards others to save you? They might be able to help through guidance but "saving" yourself is up to you.

As sovereign beings, I believe that humanity is more than capable of "saving" itself. In fact it would be far better if we did so ourselves without direct outside intervention. In that way we would evolve in a more substantial manner. Although it is fine to seek guidance, look to yourself for salvation.

They aren't coming to save us. They are trying to teach us how to save ourselves.

By saving us they would infringe upon the universal law of free will, and since these are benevolent beings they will not do that.
