Although, it wasn't actually her and Tidus, it was Lenne and Shuyin.

Depends on which ending you get...the spirit ending is the "bad" ending....if you get that ending then yuna never reunites with tidus....if you get one of the good endings then yes she does...and yuna continues on with a new purpose but never sees tidus again (from what we know) if you get the "average" ending.

Lenne was a summoner for Zanarkand in the battle between Zanarkand and Bevelle.

Shuyin loved Lenne and knew Lenne would die if she were to fight, so he infiltrated Bevelle and attempted to use Vegnagun to end the war.

Lenne found out, chased Shuyin there to stop him as she knew it would destroy the world. She convinced him but were then trapped by soldiers and then executed.
