Christian Syrians -Also Christian Iraqi refugges in Syria- could suffer the same tragedy: USA.NATO are supporting islamists (muslim extremists) to cause chaos (terrorist atacks, killing of civilian and soldier inside Syria)to open the road of invasion and destruction of Syria society, the most modern, secular and non sectarian society in Middle East. So an Islamist regime (puppet of Western imperialism) would have their free hands to commit crimes against Christian in Syria as happened in Iraq
Father Ragheed Ganni, pray for us... Holy Mary, pray for us.. Jesus I trust in You, Jesus we trust in You, Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in You... Amen.
I hope and pray that the time comes that he will be declared Blessed, and later on be a Catholic Saint... he is now with Jesus, Mary, and all the Saints and the Martyrs... let us pray for his soul....
I'm a Muslims and my parents are catholic a I feel bad for the people who were killed by so called Muslims. I wish that the Christians and Muslim can leave in peace.
"O mi Iesu, dimitte nobis debita nostra, libera nos ab igne inferni, conduc in caelum omnes animas, praesertim illas quae maxime indigent misericordia tua. Amen."
dati akong altarboy sa parish namin, then active member rin ako ng youth catholic charismatic renewal, also member rin ako ng parish renewal experience, when i was in college naging aspirant ako ng missionary of our lady of africa, then from elem,, secondary hangang college i study in notre dame, a catholic school,

4) The Epistles were written to already established Christians, not people Paul, Peter, etc. were trying to convert. This means they were taught orally as Paul in 2 Thess 2:15 says...in other words they did not have a Bible to look at. Heck, they didn't have a Bible for 300 years after the fact.
5) Bible only is a modern teaching taught by Protestant preachers, and was never taught by any Church until 1500 years later. Even Luther and Martin did not say this.
1) No where does the Bible claim that only the Bible can be looked at for the Truth.
2) The books of the Bible itself (as put together by the Church Father's, i.e. St. Athanasius being one) were chosen using the oral Tradition of the Church. This is how they knew the false from true Books.
3) The same people who put together the Bible, also venerated Mary, and many other things you probably look down upon (yet you trust them that the Bible is True).
Us poor Christians with 2000 years of teaching needed the Protestant reformation 1500 years later to lead us in the right direction! I guess Jesus left the wrong people in charge.
I am sorry that you feel that. It is your loss that you refuse such an advocate to the Lord. I am sorry that you pick and choose what you like from he Bible, completely ignoring what an Angel, Elizabeth (and John the Baptist who leaped in the womb upon hearing her voice) and Mary herself said. I guess babies leaping in wombs upon hearing a woman's voice is common in your Protestant Church...Mary contained GOD within her for nine months, I guess that means nothing. Could happen to anyone..
It's amazing how Protestants 2000 years after the fact think they know better than the Apostolic Fathers and 2000 years of teaching, all while using a poorly translated English version of a Greek Bible, a language in which the early fathers were well versed in...
Pray that GODS church will have peace and joy for this up coming Christmas, and remember that JESUS is reason for the season I pray for a HOLY SPIRIT out pouring over the church in the M.E, AMEN
A modern day Martyrs!! Your sacrifice will not be in vain! It is the blood of the martyrs that perserved The Church! God Bless and give you all strength an courage. Know that you are a shinning example to all of us in the West! My heart and prayers goes out to you, Our Brothers In Christ!
I BELIEVE THE GOVERNMENT OF IRAQ AND THE IRAQI PEOPLE SHOULD WORK TOGETHER TO EXPEL EVERYONE WHOSE'S NOT IRAQI CITIZEN UNTIL PEACE IS BACK. THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT SHOULD ISSUE SEIZE FIRE AND CURFEWS UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY IN ORDER. ALL IRAQIS SHOULD WORK TOGETHER WITH THE GOVERNMENT TO TURN IN ANY NON IRAQIS INSTEAD OF FIGHTING AGAINST EACH OTHER. WE KNOW BY KNOW ANY NON IRAQI WHO CAME TO IRAQ AFTER THE INVASION HAS NOTHING IN HEART BUT ILL FEELINGS [DEATH & MURDER]FOR THE IRAQI PEOPLE.
Every time I look and hear this vid I cannot help feeling moved. My dear Lebanese friend Daniyyel1 has told me that this Arabic is PURE after I asked if it is diff from the Lebanese. May the Lord reward all the Martyrs and Protect all these lambs from the wolves sent by the enemy.

@Assyria4eva sorry, I'm sure they do great work, but your answer isn't linked to the question, @laveritabella asked for help for the catholic parishes, afaik assyrians are orthodox, aren't they?
Assyrian Aid Society isnt linked to any denomination in particular.
They provide aid to all our people Assyrian Church of the East, Ancient Church of the east, Chaldean catholic , Syrian Catholic , Syrian Orthodox. They help all Assyrians.
Most of our people in Iraq today are from the Chaldean catholic so naturally they would receive the most funds and aid.
@TotallyYoursMary I mean the Trans- lit-eration. Its like the phonetic spelling of what the words are, so when you read them they sound like the original words. Part of the beauty of this song is the language, so it would be great to learn it in the original Arabic.
@bass109 Amen! Jesus said " I am the way, the truth, and the life. Noone comes to the father but through me." Meaning Jesus is the only one to save your soul. Mary cannot hear our prayers. The Bible also tells us to prove all things and hold fast to what is true. It doesnt matter if every pope said she was. The Bible is Gods word. Follow The Word and not the system of religion.
@kiwichristian2009 where do you get your notion that "Mary cannot hear our prayers" how do you know that for sure? Are you God? You are the one following the system of religion of Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and other errant theologians that came after the 1500's. You need to read the early church fathers who knew the apostles not 15th century heretic theologians. The Lord gave Mary to us as a mother on the cross. You choose not to follow His gift and disrespect His mother.
If purgatory is true then the 'catholic' Christ didn't accomplish anything on the cross, wasted his time and died for nothing. The 'catholic' Christ should have hired a pro instead of doing the job himself. The Christ of Christianity is the Pro. He got the job on the cross done right the first time. And.....He did it for free!
@kiwichristian2009 Yes the Lord did get the job done on the cross but we still need to be fully cleansed before entering heaven. If you are in a fully dark room then you are exposed to a bright life, you will need to rub your eyes first before you can fully adjust to the bright light, this is what purgatory is, a preparation for heaven. Amen yes the Lord is the Pro and He did it for free but He also established a church on the rock who is Peter the first Pope
@TotallyYoursMary 1John2:2 "He is the propitiation for our sins" 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to CLEANSE us from ALL unrighteousness.".
@kiwichristian2009 yes Amen "He is the propitiation for our sins" and He will "cleanse us from all unrighteousness" during our life on earth and in Purgatory which is the way to heaven. Some die in a full state of grace and some don't. Those who don't will be fully cleansed in Purgatory. The Christian Catholic Church teaches the full truth. All other Christian churches teach part of the truth to a certain extent but only the Catholic Church teaches the full truth. Read the early church fathers
"Do you not see what they are doing in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger." (Jer 7:17-18). Those verses are eerily reminiscent of the Roman Catholic service.
@kiwichristian2009 Mary is the new Queen of Heaven because her Son is the King of Kings. The truly Christian service in all the rites of the Catholic Church (Roman or Latin is just one of them) is nothing but a representation of what the Lord Himself did at the Last Supper and with the Emmaus disciples after the resurrection. He took, broke, blessed and gave. Believe and Receive
@PeterMansour Amen! Acts4:12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Do you respect everything in Scripture? Fine. So you must not cut parts of your hair and you have to respect all purity norms. That's fine. If you don't: Why?
@Seakinnfiendin. Why are you being so obtuse! Get this, for the last time - Catholics don't worship images, never have. They are merely representations... Now in relation to your quote with regards to the council of Trent, can you provide me with the specific reference? I'm not familiar with it. But even so, I will make a bet with you now. That what is being communicated is not that Catholics should worship images... Lets bet a dollar.
@kiwichristian2009 Maybe you are able to understand the following: We do not worship (meaning: treat as god): Pope, other Clergy, Mary, other Saints, statues, buildings, images, other things.
We do worship: God, who is one god in three persons.
@Seakinnfiendin The Catechism of the Council of Trent states these words: "It is lawful to have images in the Church, and to give honor and worship unto them...".
Pope Pius IX in 1854 “Let all the children of the Catholic Church ... Proceed to worship, invoke, and pray to the most blessed Virgin Mary, mother of God. ”
@kiwichristian2009 I know very well that today many people don't understand Latin anymore. But I have been learning it for 6 years now on a public school here in Germany and my grades aren't the worst in this subject.
@Seakinnfiendin But, what i am getting at is that "are not forbidden by this Commandment" which is taught by the rcc, is NOT taught by God. This is NOT what the commandment says, the commandment says what the commandment says.
because the worship which they refused to accept was the honour due to God alone.
The translation isn't accurate either in the other case, your version seems to be a very old translation, about the history of the word "worship" you may find more in a etymological dictionary, or here:
7ax[.]de/1l7i
Let all the children of the Catholic Church, who are so very dear to us, hear these words of ours. With a still more ardent zeal for piety, religion and love, let them continue to venerate, invoke and pray to the most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, conceived without original sin.
Sorry, but now I have to stop to continue my essay.
@kiwichristian2009 the angel told the Blessed Mother "Hail Mary full of grace" and that was before the Lord's sacrifice on the cross. She had to have been conceived without original sin. God Himself incarnated in her womb and took His human body completely from her body, how could she have any sin in her? it's just not possible. Her body was in the same state of Adam and Eve's body before original sin
@TotallyYoursMary Now, my friend. I have shown you biblical proof from the Bible that God says that ALL have sinned. Yet you still maintain that that is a lie. GOD SAID IT.
@kiwichristian2009 Christ didn't sin. But it does say "ALL HAVE SINNED". Now, I am not a professor of theology, but when the Bible says something and it seems to contradict another theological truth that is asserted, there must be a more full understanding of that verse that a quick surface reading. The Bible must be read in the context of the entire Bible.
The greek word "kecharitomine" only appears one time in the New Testament. It is only used by the angel Gabriel to adress Mary. Continued.
@kiwichristian2009 please don't stop short at Romans 3:23. What does the next verse say? "They are justified freely by his grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus" Mary is the only person who was justified freely by "his grace" before the cross because the angel told her in Luke 1:28 "Hail Mary, full of grace" or in other translations "Hail favored one" which is the same thing. Mary was "favored" before the cross. Again the Lord couldn't have taken His human body from a sinful woman.
@TotallyYoursMary Wrong, they are different meanings. Mary was indeed blessed among women, she was not blessed ABOVE women. What better way for Christ to be born than through a sinner? What better way to show His power and grace? If mary was sinless, everyone would of recognized Christ as God. They didn't.
@kiwichristian2009 this is your interpretation of scripture. Mary was conceived without the effect of original sin. Her body was the same as Adam and Eve's body before Original Sin. The angel told her "full of grace" and this was before the sacrifice of the Lord on the cross. Her immaculate conception is the only possible interpretation. You happen to follow the interpretation of Luther, Calvin and Zwingli. I follow the interpretation of the Christian Catholic Church based on the early fathers
@TotallyYoursMary Rubbish. It has nothing to do with "interpretation". GOD SAYS in Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." . Now, show me where God contradicts what He said. All your statements are from man, not from God. I follow the Word of God.
@kiwichristian2009 you don't follow the Word of God, you follow Luther, Zwingly and Calvin and their interpretation of the Word of God. I never said God contradicts what He said, this is what you are saying. You take the Word of God out of context and build your own religion on it. I told you many times that God told Mary throuh the angel that she is full of grace and that was even before He incarnated in her womb, but you refuse to listen to the Word of God and follow a false interpretation
@kiwichristian2009 i don't believe you, you may not have studied them specifically or read their books but you say exactly what they said and you must have read or studied books by others who depend on Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and other errant "theolgians" who call themselves "reformers" but all they did was to divide the body of Christ
No man is good enough to be worshipped! He is a sinner just like you and me,Jesus made all Christians Priests not one man , if a man is trying to be an old testament Priest he is a liar and the truth is not in him. Read 1 Peter 2 vers.5 and you will see that i'm telling you the truth. Also read 2 Timothy 2 vers.15 and then you won't be mislead. Sorry to give you this bad news, but I was lead by the spirit of God
Its safe for people to mock us Christians knowing that all we will do is pray for them, or gasp maybe even call Rush and complain. Its easy picking on us. Most of you cowards dont have the guts to pick on the Moslems cause you know what will happen if you do!
@kiwichristian2009 You take things out of context. You'll never reach anything with what you write or think, because it's all incomplete. Your thoughts are chaotic, take it easy, relax and know that you're not the only person that has ever read or wrote the canon law or the Bible. I'm sure you know how LONG encyclical letters are and I see you post a small comment about it, which is very silly. Therefore, you DO NOT know the deep and true meaning of faith nor morals.
kiwichristian, if Mary was good enough for Jesus, she is good enough for me. Mary can help us by praying for us. At the wedding at Cana, when they ran out of wine, they went to Mary and she asked her Son. Don't you read your Bible brother or sister?
@kiwichristian2009 "Show me where God says to pray to mary? Show me where the apostles went through her to get to Jesus?"
First, it is sad that some people are so full of negative thoughts that they have to even argue on a video such as this.
Second, the word "pray" means "to ask". Praying or asking a Saint who is alive with Christ to intercede on our behalf is no different than you asking your pastor to pray for you..well actually it's much better.
@mrrightwing1000 Answer my question my friend rather than using typical catholic anti-christian diversionary tactics. I again ask you "Show me where God says to pray to mary? Show me where the apostles went through her to get to Jesus?"
@kiwichristian2009 Third, if you look at John Ch. 2, there you will find a perfect example of the Mother of God interceding to Christ on someone's behalf....even though it was not yet his time.
@mrrightwing1000 Catholics try to use John 2:3-7 to say that they show Mary had parental authority over Jesus. However, they show just the opposite. Notice that when Mary tries to exercise parental authority Jesus rejects it (v. 4, note-NOT disrespect to Mary) for as He says in Luke 2:49, parental authority is to His heavenly Father and not those allowed to watch over their Creator here on earth.
@kiwichristian2009 So what you are saying is that a perfect, sinless Jesus dishonored his mother and was disobedient to her?
Actually, if you read verse 4, is STRENGTHENS the premise that Catholics, Orthodox and other's say about Mary. It was not yet His time, or His will to start His ministry of miracles but he did it anyway because His mother asked Him to! How you can possible get what you said is beyond me.
@mrrightwing1000 No, where did i say that? But, remember that Christ denied His mother at one point when she and HIS BROTHERS came to visit Him. Mary didnt even ASK Christ for anything, she mearly made a statement, thats all.
@kiwichristian2009 You said it right here, "Notice that when Mary tries to exercise parental authority Jesus rejects it"..Also, Christ did not deny her when she came to him, but He merely mad a point that anyone who is obedient to God is His mother and brothers. Also, why did you all caps HIS BROTHERS?
But you are right, she didn't ask Him to make wine, she told Him to.
@kiwichristian2009 "They have no wine". That was all she needed to say, and he did it. She never asked Him to do it, or if He could do it, she just told Him, "They have no wine", and He did what she wanted even though it was against His Will. The Perfect Man-God Jesus goes out the window if He ever disrespected His mother or was disobedient. That alone should disprove your previous argument.
@mrrightwing1000 So, you lied? You said mary "told Him" to perform a miracle and she did nothing of the sort! Anyhow, we are getting off topic here. The point is that the BIBLICAL Mary is not the mary of catholicism. The Bible NEVER portrays mary as anything other than a Godly woman used by God. Nothing more.
@kiwichristian2009 No, I didn't lie. I said she did not ask Him to do it, her words as a mother told Him to do it. "They have no wine". Is that a request or a statement? It is not off topic when the topic we are discussing proves an argument and debunks yours. The fact remains she interceded on behalf of the wedding party to her Son Jesus. You claimed she did nothing of the sort, and you were proven wrong. So, please, don't try the "we got off topic" line, it's not going to work.
@mrrightwing1000 It was a statement. Plain and simple. The ONLY command mary EVER gave to ANYONE was that they should obey JESUS and do what HE says. Nothing I have said is unbiblical.
@kiwichristian2009 " A Godly woman used by God"..?! Seriously, that is how you put it? You make her sound so...well used. The fact she she contained the Uncontainable in her womb, something no on else on earth has done. You obviously haven't read the Bible much because it definitely portrays her as more than a woman "used" by God. Besides the fact that the Bible is not about Mary, but about Jesus and the beginnings of His Church.
@mrrightwing1000 Yes. The Bible NEVER portreys mary as anyone/anything other than a good, godly woman used by God. She is hardly even mentioned by name in the Bible! Again, nothing i have said is unbiblical. You are right, the Bible is NOT about mary. Nor is salvation or Christianity. It is about Jesus Christ. You are right on that point.
@kiwichristian2009 Mary is the Mother of God the Son. God became a baby and was totally dependent on her. She fed him, changed him, gave him a shower and put him to sleep on her arms and in her lap. I want to be a baby and throw myself in the arms of Mary the same way that the Lord did. To depend on Mary is to be Christ like. Mary is a model for all Christians to immitate. I will do what Christ did. She is my mother. If she is good enough for Jesus, she is good enough for me.
@mrrightwing1000 Nowhere does the Bible says Mary was sinless or the exception to sin passed on from each generation. For such a miraculous event the Bible surely would have spoken to this issue. Catholics do not find this doctrine from the context of Scripture but from making a pretext out of the Scripture from their Church tradition (which happens to be written down). But again it is not apostolic tradition.
@kiwichristian2009 Where did I say Mary was sinless? My belief of the subject not withstanding. Not for nothing, but it is Apostolic Tradition..where do you think we get it from. Try reading the writings of Igantius sometime, a first century Bishop of Antioch who was also a disciple and student of John the Apostle. I think he would no more that the modern day Protestant preachers using a bad English translation of a Greek Bible.
@mrrightwing1000 "Try reading the writings of Igantius sometime, ". But, my friend God has already said that ALL have sinned. Surely you are not calling God a liar?
@kiwichristian2009 Well, technically Paul said that, not God, but anyway semantics aside, who are "all" and what sin is he referring to? Surely, if "all" met "all, everyone who ever existed", Jesus Himself would fall into this category. But it doesn't. Second, the sin he is referring to is original sin we are born with, which also Mary was born with. Her not sinning was in her life. Sinning makes one dirty, how could the Ark of the New Covenant that contained the Uncontainable be soiled?
No man is good enough to be worshipped! He is a sinner just like you and me,Jesus made all Christians Priests not one man , if a man is trying to be an old testament Priest he is a liar and the truth is not in him. Read 1 Peter 2 vers.5 and you will see that i'm telling you the truth. Also read 2 Timothy 2 vers.15 and then you won't be mislead. Sorry to give you this bad news, but I was lead by the spirit of God
@brotherfrank62 AMEN! A study of the New Testament reveals that all Christians are priests. Peter said,"Be you yourselves as living stones, built thereon into a spiritual house,a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." (1 Pet. 2:5).Thus,all Christians are of that holy priesthood and can offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
@brotherfrank62 Amen! All Christians have the right to go to God through Jesus Christ, our High priest (Heb. 4:14-16). There is no priesthood on earth that has the right to forbid each Christian to go directly to God through Christ, or to assume the authority to administer graces and obtain mercy for others.
@kiwichristian2009 I also think you confuse things when you say, "There is no priesthood on earth that has the right to forbid each Christian to go directly to God through Christ".
You confuse the meaning as Christ as the Intercessor to God. Christ is the Intercessor to for us to God in the way that only His sacrifice can bring us back to God as we once were in Eden. This is what is meant by "only intercessor". People, anyone, Priests, friends, Saints, interceding on your behalf to Christ...
@kiwichristian2009 ..is not the same thing. I can't believe that you think people can't or don't pray for others. What do you think that is? It's intercession...but not the intercession that Jesus is between us and God..only He can do that and restore us to God through His sacrifice on the Cross.
@kiwichristian2009 I think you confuse Saints, Priests interceding for us to Christ, and Christ interceding to God for us. They are two different things. Christ's intercession is something that only He can do, and that was His sacrifice on the Cross restoring us to our former state with God in Eden. Saints, Priests or anyone can intercede in prayer to Jesus for anyone for anything.
@Sohaila95 mohummad had fits and seizures and dreams and his catholic wife "interpreted" them into the koran. You will find many differences between allah and God and the koran and the Bible.
Writers on the Canon Law say, "The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in heaven and earth." Barclay Cap. XXVII, p. 218. Cities Petrus Bertrandus, Pius V. - Cardinal Cusa supports his statement. "We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty". Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter of June 20, 1894. So, are these Popes wrong in saying they are basically God on Earth? This is a statement on faith and morals, is it not? How is this reconcilable?
@kiwichristian2009 You take things out of context. You'll never reach anything with what you write or think, because it's all incomplete. Your thoughts are chaotic, take it easy, relax and know that you're not the only person that has ever read or wrote the canon law or the Bible. I'm sure you know how LONG encyclical letters are and I see you post a small comment about it, which is very silly. Therefore, you DO NOT know the deep and true meaning of faith nor morals.
Just as Cain vainly tried to impress God with the works of his hands, so do Catholics try to impress God with their good works and ceremonialism. Catholicism is a damnable lie that has been in the world since Cain. God will smash the Catholic Whore with His judgments.
@kiwichristian2009 Why are you on this site, go away and vent your spleen on someone else - PLEASE. Just a couple of thoughts. Seeing since you are so fond of quoting scripture, can you quote me the passage were it says "sola scriptura." Moreover, who do you think gave us the scriptures, oooh yes, it was the Catholic Church. Finally, how did the early Christians survive for over three hundred years without an agreed cannon of scripture? Doooh. Can't answer that, without making some nonsense up.
Our Lord Jesus Christ talked to Moses and Elijah on the mount Favor. Moses and Elijah were well and sound, because with God everyone is alive. Father Ragheed Ganni, I am sure, is with the Lord now, and he can and does interseed for the faithful here on earth. Those who do not believe that the Saints of God are on active duty, basically disregard the Bible.
Exodus 20:4,5 couldn't be any clearer that even BOWING down to a statue is idolatry. Yet, Catholics foolishly claim that they are not worshipping the statues they are bowing down to. BUT, God forbids us from even bowing to statues. In fact, the Bible is so clear on this matter that the Vatican has even REMOVED the second of the Ten Commandments to deceive you.
No man is good enough to be worshipped! He is a sinner just like you and me,Jesus made all Christians Priests not one man , if a man is trying to be an old testament Priest he is a liar and the truth is not in him. Allah yerHamo. God Bless him, truly a Martyr and Hero for Christ. Happy are those who are persecuted for Christ, for they shall inherit the kindom of heaven!
I hope those culprit who killed father Ragheed and his deacons will be burn in the
pit of the hell!!!! They are infidels in my eyes and deserve not to live because they treat human life like it is priceless, they're not G-d to take others life and deserve not to decide what others wanted to believe! - Salaam and peace from your Yemeni friend may the father and his deacons rest in peace.
does anyone know the name of this song??? I mean the title of the song in original language but written in english letters........ if someone does then please tell me would like to get the words, it sounds very beautiful, sad but full of hope.
@chase82 Mary cannot help us. Acts4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Only Jesus Christ Himself can.
Beautiful voice. The language, even though I dont understand it, sounds very beautiful! (Excuse my ignorance but what language is this lovely song being sung in?)
I'm Coptic Orthodox. The Arabic sung in my church is a little different than this dialect. However, I understood most of it and must say that it is purely amazing.
This makes me cry :( :( Im an iraqi muslim(sunni) and i really love chaldean christians iraqi!! DAMN WHY TERRORIST!!!! R.I.P SADDAM HUSSEIN HE CONTROLLED IRAQ VERY TIGHT THAT NO TERRORIST CAME INSIDE!!!
MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU ALL IRAQI CHALDEAN CHRISTIANS ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!
God bless you my fellow Catholic Christians from Iraq. Your american brothers and sisters stand in solidarity with you and are praying for you. Never lose hope. Let your light so shine!
I am a chaldean/christian who migrated to Australia from iraq my parents still have family over in iraq who are suffering for being christians its funny how were also arabs who migrated from the middle east but you never hear anything about us in the media we adapt well and live peacful lives while still holding onto our culture.
people are still getting killed in Mosul just for the reason of being Christian, last week 5 people were killed in front of their businesses. Like the blood of unborn children, the blood of Father Ragheed, of Bishop Rahho & all the martyrs cries out for repentence, for true love. May God have mercy on us because of the sins of abortion & contraception. We are worst than the terrorists who kill adults. Let's stop killing our children in the womb. Father Ragheed pray for us
@ProfRaphaello Pity they are dead and cannot. Pray to Jesus instead, my friend. There are so many verses in scripture that contradict RCC theology Rom 4:5 utterly condemns the System of salvation by masses penance priests etc, bible teaches that salvation is gift of God not of works & this gift is freely given by God to those who trust in the merits of Christ's finished work on Calvary, the RCC SYSTEM is a demonic counterfeit to keep the lost RCs on the broad road to hell
Father Ragheed....now serves as inspiration to not only Catholics but to all Christians,,that we must not leave our Faith....for others die with their faith..with that faith they were persecuted..WE must be ready to defend our faith and our God..from the works of evil..
Yesterday afternoon Zhaki Homo Bashir, a Christian deacon,was hit by gunfire from a group of unknown criminals. The man had just entered his shop located in the district of alJadida. Seriously injured, he was transported to hospital.AsiaNews published the news yesterday of the kidnapping a college student from an Islamic group. Newshas also reached the agency in recent days that another Christian was killed onChristmas Eve;
Basil Isho Youhanna was hit by gunfire in front of his house in the neighbourhood of Tahrir, in northern Mosul.
In recent weeks there has been an increase of killings of Christians and attacks on churches and convents. All the violence is part of a project of "ethnic cleansing" against the Iraqi Christians, reported to AsiaNews.

Even Luther and Martin did not say this.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
There are also a few things you fail to see.
1) No where does the Bible claim that only the Bible can be looked at for the Truth.
2) The books of the Bible itself (as put together by the Church Father's, i.e. St. Athanasius being one) were chosen using the oral Tradition of the Church. This is how they knew the false from true Books.
3) The same people who put together the Bible, also venerated Mary, and many other things you probably look down upon (yet you trust them that the Bible is True).
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
Us poor Christians with 2000 years of teaching needed the Protestant reformation 1500 years later to lead us in the right direction! I guess Jesus left the wrong people in charge.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
I am sorry that you feel that. It is your loss that you refuse such an advocate to the Lord. I am sorry that you pick and choose what you like from he Bible, completely ignoring what an Angel, Elizabeth (and John the Baptist who leaped in the womb upon hearing her voice) and Mary herself said. I guess babies leaping in wombs upon hearing a woman's voice is common in your Protestant Church...Mary contained GOD within her for nine months, I guess that means nothing. Could happen to anyone..
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
It's amazing how Protestants 2000 years after the fact think they know better than the Apostolic Fathers and 2000 years of teaching, all while using a poorly translated English version of a Greek Bible, a language in which the early fathers were well versed in...
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
"Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."
"And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb."
"for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed."
She sure sounds like a lot more than just a "used" woman...

follow jesus and ask him to save you!
bass109 1 year ago
@bass109 Amen! Jesus said " I am the way, the truth, and the life. Noone comes to the father but through me." Meaning Jesus is the only one to save your soul. Mary cannot hear our prayers. The Bible also tells us to prove all things and hold fast to what is true. It doesnt matter if every pope said she was. The Bible is Gods word. Follow The Word and not the system of religion.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 where do you get your notion that "Mary cannot hear our prayers" how do you know that for sure? Are you God? You are the one following the system of religion of Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and other errant theologians that came after the 1500's. You need to read the early church fathers who knew the apostles not 15th century heretic theologians. The Lord gave Mary to us as a mother on the cross. You choose not to follow His gift and disrespect His mother.
TotallyYoursMary 1 year ago
If purgatory is true then the 'catholic' Christ didn't accomplish anything on the cross, wasted his time and died for nothing. The 'catholic' Christ should have hired a pro instead of doing the job himself. The Christ of Christianity is the Pro. He got the job on the cross done right the first time. And.....He did it for free!
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 Yes the Lord did get the job done on the cross but we still need to be fully cleansed before entering heaven. If you are in a fully dark room then you are exposed to a bright life, you will need to rub your eyes first before you can fully adjust to the bright light, this is what purgatory is, a preparation for heaven. Amen yes the Lord is the Pro and He did it for free but He also established a church on the rock who is Peter the first Pope

@TotallyYoursMary 1John2:2 "He is the propitiation for our sins" 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to CLEANSE us from ALL unrighteousness.".
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago

Those verses are eerily reminiscent of the Roman Catholic service.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 Mary is the new Queen of Heaven because her Son is the King of Kings. The truly Christian service in all the rites of the Catholic Church (Roman or Latin is just one of them) is nothing but a representation of what the Lord Himself did at the Last Supper and with the Emmaus disciples after the resurrection. He took, broke, blessed and gave. Believe and Receive

@kiwichristian2009 I know very well that today many people don't understand Latin anymore. But I have been learning it for 6 years now on a public school here in Germany and my grades aren't the worst in this subject.
I'll cite from a Google Books version:

In Qaestio VIII. the latin text is available.
I have checked it, the following translation is accurate:
Veneration And Invocation Of Angels And Saints Not Forbidden By This Commandment
Seakinnfiendin 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 In explanation of this Commandment it should be accurately taught that the veneration and invocation of holy
Angels and of the blessed who now enjoy the glory of heaven, heaven, and likewise the honour which the Catholic
Church has always paid even to the bodies and ashes of the Saints, are not forbidden by this Commandment. If a
king ordered that no one else should set himself up as king, or accept the honours due to the royal person,
Seakinnfiendin 1 year ago
@Seakinnfiendin But, what i am getting at is that "are not forbidden by this Commandment" which is taught by the rcc, is NOT taught by God. This is NOT what the commandment says, the commandment says what the commandment says.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 who
would be so foolish as to infer that the sovereign was unwilling that suitable honour and respect should be paid
to his magistrates? Now although Christians follow the example set by the Saints of the Old Law, and are said
to adore the Angels, yet they do not give to Angels that honour which is due to God alone.
And if we sometimes read that Angels refused to be worshipped by men,
Seakinnfiendin 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 we are to know that they did so
because the worship which they refused to accept was the honour due to God alone.
The translation isn't accurate either in the other case, your version seems to be a very old translation, about the history of the word "worship" you may find more in a etymological dictionary, or here:
7ax[.]de/1l7i
The latin version:

Seakinnfiendin 1 year ago

Let all the children of the Catholic Church, who are so very dear to us, hear these words of ours. With a still more ardent zeal for piety, religion and love, let them continue to venerate, invoke and pray to the most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, conceived without original sin.
Sorry, but now I have to stop to continue my essay.
Seakinnfiendin 1 year ago
@Seakinnfiendin "conceived without original sin." What a lie! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 the angel told the Blessed Mother "Hail Mary full of grace" and that was before the Lord's sacrifice on the cross. She had to have been conceived without original sin. God Himself incarnated in her womb and took His human body completely from her body, how could she have any sin in her? it's just not possible. Her body was in the same state of Adam and Eve's body before original sin
TotallyYoursMary 1 year ago
@TotallyYoursMary Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@TotallyYoursMary Now, my friend. I have shown you biblical proof from the Bible that God says that ALL have sinned. Yet you still maintain that that is a lie. GOD SAID IT.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 Christ didn't sin. But it does say "ALL HAVE SINNED". Now, I am not a professor of theology, but when the Bible says something and it seems to contradict another theological truth that is asserted, there must be a more full understanding of that verse that a quick surface reading. The Bible must be read in the context of the entire Bible.
The greek word "kecharitomine" only appears one time in the New Testament. It is only used by the angel Gabriel to adress Mary. Continued.
vaeates 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 please don't stop short at Romans 3:23. What does the next verse say? "They are justified freely by his grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus" Mary is the only person who was justified freely by "his grace" before the cross because the angel told her in Luke 1:28 "Hail Mary, full of grace" or in other translations "Hail favored one" which is the same thing. Mary was "favored" before the cross. Again the Lord couldn't have taken His human body from a sinful woman.
TotallyYoursMary 1 year ago
@TotallyYoursMary Wrong, they are different meanings. Mary was indeed blessed among women, she was not blessed ABOVE women. What better way for Christ to be born than through a sinner? What better way to show His power and grace? If mary was sinless, everyone would of recognized Christ as God. They didn't.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 this is your interpretation of scripture. Mary was conceived without the effect of original sin. Her body was the same as Adam and Eve's body before Original Sin. The angel told her "full of grace" and this was before the sacrifice of the Lord on the cross. Her immaculate conception is the only possible interpretation. You happen to follow the interpretation of Luther, Calvin and Zwingli. I follow the interpretation of the Christian Catholic Church based on the early fathers
TotallyYoursMary 1 year ago
@TotallyYoursMary Rubbish. It has nothing to do with "interpretation". GOD SAYS in Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." . Now, show me where God contradicts what He said. All your statements are from man, not from God. I follow the Word of God.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 you don't follow the Word of God, you follow Luther, Zwingly and Calvin and their interpretation of the Word of God. I never said God contradicts what He said, this is what you are saying. You take the Word of God out of context and build your own religion on it. I told you many times that God told Mary throuh the angel that she is full of grace and that was even before He incarnated in her womb, but you refuse to listen to the Word of God and follow a false interpretation

@kiwichristian2009 You take things out of context. You'll never reach anything with what you write or think, because it's all incomplete.

Show me where the apostles went through her to get to Jesus?"
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 Third, if you look at John Ch. 2, there you will find a perfect example of the Mother of God interceding to Christ on someone's behalf....even though it was not yet his time.
Also, I am not Roman Catholic so you know.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 Catholics try to use John 2:3-7 to say that they show Mary had parental authority over Jesus. However, they show just the opposite. Notice that when Mary tries to exercise parental authority Jesus rejects it (v. 4, note-NOT disrespect to Mary) for as He says in Luke 2:49, parental authority is to His heavenly Father and not those allowed to watch over their Creator here on earth.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 So what you are saying is that a perfect, sinless Jesus dishonored his mother and was disobedient to her?
Actually, if you read verse 4, is STRENGTHENS the premise that Catholics, Orthodox and other's say about Mary. It was not yet His time, or His will to start His ministry of miracles but he did it anyway because His mother asked Him to! How you can possible get what you said is beyond me.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 No, where did i say that? But, remember that Christ denied His mother at one point when she and HIS BROTHERS came to visit Him. Mary didnt even ASK Christ for anything, she mearly made a statement, thats all.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 You said it right here, "Notice that when Mary tries to exercise parental authority Jesus rejects it"..Also, Christ did not deny her when she came to him, but He merely mad a point that anyone who is obedient to God is His mother and brothers. Also, why did you all caps HIS BROTHERS?
But you are right, she didn't ask Him to make wine, she told Him to.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 "But you are right, she didn't ask Him to make wine, she told Him to." Really? show me this, please?
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 "They have no wine". That was all she needed to say, and he did it. She never asked Him to do it, or if He could do it, she just told Him, "They have no wine", and He did what she wanted even though it was against His Will. The Perfect Man-God Jesus goes out the window if He ever disrespected His mother or was disobedient. That alone should disprove your previous argument.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 So, you lied? You said mary "told Him" to perform a miracle and she did nothing of the sort! Anyhow, we are getting off topic here. The point is that the BIBLICAL Mary is not the mary of catholicism. The Bible NEVER portrays mary as anything other than a Godly woman used by God. Nothing more.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 No, I didn't lie. I said she did not ask Him to do it, her words as a mother told Him to do it. "They have no wine". Is that a request or a statement? It is not off topic when the topic we are discussing proves an argument and debunks yours. The fact remains she interceded on behalf of the wedding party to her Son Jesus. You claimed she did nothing of the sort, and you were proven wrong. So, please, don't try the "we got off topic" line, it's not going to work.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 It was a statement. Plain and simple. The ONLY command mary EVER gave to ANYONE was that they should obey JESUS and do what HE says. Nothing I have said is unbiblical.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 " A Godly woman used by God"..?! Seriously, that is how you put it? You make her sound so...well used. The fact she she contained the Uncontainable in her womb, something no on else on earth has done. You obviously haven't read the Bible much because it definitely portrays her as more than a woman "used" by God. Besides the fact that the Bible is not about Mary, but about Jesus and the beginnings of His Church.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 Yes. The Bible NEVER portreys mary as anyone/anything other than a good, godly woman used by God. She is hardly even mentioned by name in the Bible! Again, nothing i have said is unbiblical. You are right, the Bible is NOT about mary. Nor is salvation or Christianity. It is about Jesus Christ. You are right on that point.

hannahr77 10 months ago
@kiwichristian2009 Mary is the Mother of God the Son. God became a baby and was totally dependent on her. She fed him, changed him, gave him a shower and put him to sleep on her arms and in her lap. I want to be a baby and throw myself in the arms of Mary the same way that the Lord did. To depend on Mary is to be Christ like. Mary is a model for all Christians to immitate. I will do what Christ did. She is my mother. If she is good enough for Jesus, she is good enough for me.
TotallyYoursMary 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 Nowhere does the Bible says Mary was sinless or the exception to sin passed on from each generation. For such a miraculous event the Bible surely would have spoken to this issue. Catholics do not find this doctrine from the context of Scripture but from making a pretext out of the Scripture from their Church tradition (which happens to be written down). But again it is not apostolic tradition.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 Where did I say Mary was sinless? My belief of the subject not withstanding. Not for nothing, but it is Apostolic Tradition..where do you think we get it from. Try reading the writings of Igantius sometime, a first century Bishop of Antioch who was also a disciple and student of John the Apostle. I think he would no more that the modern day Protestant preachers using a bad English translation of a Greek Bible.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@mrrightwing1000 "Try reading the writings of Igantius sometime, ". But, my friend God has already said that ALL have sinned. Surely you are not calling God a liar?
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago

2:5).Thus,all Christians are of that holy priesthood and can offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago

People, anyone, Priests, friends, Saints, interceding on your behalf to Christ...
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago
@kiwichristian2009 ..is not the same thing. I can't believe that you think people can't or don't pray for others. What do you think that is? It's intercession...but not the intercession that Jesus is between us and God..only He can do that and restore us to God through His sacrifice on the Cross.
mrrightwing1000 1 year ago

How is this reconcilable?
kiwichristian2009 1 year ago

Father Ragheed Ganni, pray to God for us!!!

In fact, the Bible is so clear on this matter that the Vatican has even REMOVED the second of the Ten Commandments to deceive you.

people are still getting killed in Mosul just for the reason of being Christian, last week 5 people were killed in front of their businesses.

Reason I'm Not Catholic Anymore
1. You shouldn't call priest father (matt. 23:9)
2. Mother Mary was NOT a virgin after Jesus was born (mark 6:3, Psa. 69:8)
3. Jesus purged our sins by HIMSELF (Heb. 1:3, 10:10)
4. Mother Mary sinned (luke 2:22-24)
5. The works you do like going to church and taking the host, etc won't he get you to heaven (EPHES . 2:8-9)
6. You can know where your going BEFORE you die (1 john 5:13)
