  • the original Corvette Killer!

  • Exactly my exhaust on my latest cobra. Love it. Very smooth. No crackling or coughing.

  • so hows the viper? you think its better than the cobra?

  • The Viper is an awesome car. Its hard to say if it is better than the Cobra as they are both excellent cars at what they are designed to do. After the Cobra was pullied it would most likely have won 1/4 mile race with the Viper as it sits now.

The viper is a lot more of a drivers car. It is much more direct and much more violent in its application of power. As far as the chassis, brakes, suspension, and steering go it is way better than the Cobra.

  • hmmm... i used to valet for a while, and suprisingly i never got to drive a cobra, never even saw one, but did drive a viper.

i heard they break, ALOT!! idk ive always been a mustang kinda guy, although i do like the vipers.

  • Well, driving a Cobra normally is much the same as a normal Mustang of that era, with a heavier clutch.

The Vipers are largely considered to be one of the most "reliable" super cars around. The engine is pretty bulletproof and a very simple pushrod design, the transmission is a Tremec, identical to one found in the Terminators, Camaros, etc, and really thats all there is to the car.

I would feel much more confident in the reliability of it than other cars in its class.

  • hmmm... i guess i would need to test drive both cars to really make an accurate assumption. im in the market for a vehicle, just havnt made up my mind yet.

im looking at either an 04 and up f250 king ranch crew cab, or an 03-04 cobra. but i have to keep it under $20k

  • Shit fuck what color is that? What have you done to the car so far?

  • It is DSG or Dark Shadow Gray. At this point the car just had an intake. But the car his since been sold and replaced with a Viper.

  • what did you do about ur check engine light with the off road x pipe? How did you get it to work out?

  • After the video was shot I installed some high flow cats back into the aftermarket pipe. I prefer the sound of it with cats.

If you don't go that route you can get an 02 simulator, or use a device like the SCT tuner to delete the code from the ECU.

  • What tips are those? They look like they have a rolled lip. My mags are looking like shit

  • They are Flowmaster tips, bought from Jegs.

  • ill be ur first comment if u comment my shit... my boy has a cobra thats y im lookin at urs...
