Much like a job application, they ask about it, but they don't say outright that you'll be denied. Won't hurt to apply though!

It looks like it was a good experience for you, right? I am thinking of applying. I wanted to go to South America, but the lady I met said that with my skills, she would send me to Africa to teach English (like you) What did you like the most about being in Mozambique, and what did you like the less? I had never thought of going to Africa for the Peace Corps, but now I'm condsidering it...!

18 months is the minimum--and you can extend your tour if you want.
