You mean the fact that GMOs are proven to have adverse effect on lab animals. And there's only been 1 actual case study on humans. And due to a lawsuit, the FDA had to hand over documents which showed them giving out a warning that GMOs could cause toxins, allergens, etc.

Drilling for oil in the US will have minimal effect on gas prices. The report the Bush Admin released on the impact of increasing drilling found that by 2025, the savings MIGHT amount to 6.5 cents per gallon. Hardly, the answer everyone is looking for. i dont think the oil companies WANT to drill offshore or in ANWR, that's why we're not doing it. same thing with the refineries. think about it, why would they want to incur more overhead when they're getting 4.15 a gallon for gas and they're sitting on billions of easy barrels in iraq coming on line? that's freeflow oil, not the hard-to-get stuff off the continental shelf.
