@froggieluvzyuhh For a start, Any artist needs permission from the original songwriter to use their lyrics & such, otherwise there is a lawsuit to be had. You can't just cover a song then release it, it just doesn't work like that. So if you actually are Michelle Branch, and you actually did write this song, then Yellowcard would have never made this cover because, by the sounds of it, you'd have said no.
