i think its shit compared to the original one cause YES it does matter that they took the gameboy slot off cause no one uses their old gameboy advance they use ds. Dsi is just another thing trying to compete with the iphone and everything else. basically I don't think it needs a camera on it or music.

i have a Dsi & a Psp & i say the only thing that Psp has on the Dsi is being able to download music directly to your Psp.Otherwise Dsi blows Psp out of the water cause Psp dosent have any games that interest me.Dsi has plenty of games that i like but im really trying to get Pokemon Platinum now since i hot a Dsi.I upgraded from a Gameboy Advance SP to a Nintend Dsi & its AWESOME!!!

My Psp is just my mp3 player that i wont have for long cause i might gamestop it.

I have The DSi and so far its pretty cool. But to download music you need a SD card with music files on it. But other wise its worth buying.

considering that I have both i beg 2 differ....I loved my DS for the longest time...stayin up allll fukkin night playin Jump ultimate starz and Chouju mecha MG....On a modded ds on top of that....but once i finally bought my slim psp....took off the black shell and turned it yellow...then Put DJmax on an 8gig with an assload of music....it was history...HISTORY I tell u....I miss my DS dont get me wrong....but i wouldnt go as far 2 say a dsi is better than a psp...Otherwise u can Quite life..

im not saying it sux but when it comes to game consoles do u really buy them to take pictures go on the internet and listen to music? i have three things that do that already along with a phone that can do those three functions so i think nintendo should've used their money to create a handheld that can better the psp in grafics and make a GOOD online service like live instead they did only a couple cool things like dsi vc and dsi ware i have heard it can hold more memory on the cards though

personally, I don't mind the extra features, but I don't think they took enough time to put into this new handheld. I liked the lite vs ds but this isn't tooooo big of a deal.

I guess it's one of those game systems that is "to each his own" type things.

If one wants to play Pokemon and send over Pokemon and stuff from their old games then they need the GBA slot which is mainly one of the reasons the DS Lite is still going to sell. I like the DSi but I'll stick with my DS Lite until it breaks or something. Then I'll get a DSi.

You're right about the lack of the GBA slot, the only problem I really have with it is not being able to play Guitar Hero: On Tour.

lolxD i couldn't agree more... everyone always pisses and moans about the lack of a GB slot... this isn't a DS/lite... this is a DSi and for what it is, it really is worth the money.
