I hear "I loved me" instead of "He loved me" which honestly fits the song better because it would further emphasize the use of lithium as a metaphor in the song. It's a metaphor for her emotional struggles and at this point in the orginal song she says "I can't hold on to me" but in reverse" she says "I loved me." so in reverse it's almost the opposite hence coining the fact that lithium is a treatment for bipolar disorder. Pretty deep stuff :)
