If you like this then you will SLove (super love) Robert Randolph! Check out Robert and his newest CD that came out just a couple weeks ago!! When Robert shreds on the pedal steel guitar, you can’t help but feel the music run through your body! Be sure to check him out at (his name) dot net. You will be able to get a free track when you visit him on his sight! WoOt WoOt!!
I saw T bone Burnette play in London back in around '83 and he made a huge impression. A massive talent and a great producer of many a successful band.Would be great to see him back in London...
alot of people don't realize his influence on them through the christian music industry. he produced just about every descent christian rock album in the 80's. i just wish he hadn't had the affair with leslie (now sam) phillips. nevertheless, i agree, way to unknown and underappreciated by the general public
T-Bone is truly under-appreciated by the masses. "Truth Decay" was single-handedly the most influential album on my musical taste- but also on how I view the world at large. Thanks for all the wonderful music you write, play, and produce!
I have always been a big believer in you and I have always loved everything you ever produced. I love your soul and your genuineness. I am a songwriter and was wondering if you have any suggestions for a new writer. Thank you
I always have found this song, in fact the whole of the self-titled T Bone album, inspiring. It turned me onto country better than any other cross over country rock thing did...because it doesn't sound crossover at all! Merely traditional with modern post-Dylan lyric writing. Reminds me of the sound of the Louvins first record.
T-Bone Burnett is one of America`s greatest under-appreciated musicians. His song-writing is amazing, his production credits read as a who`s who of modern music. The guy`s brilliant, pure and simple... :-)
Just beautiful, what a songwriter..."a jail where we fail every time we make a break". Thanks.

It was good to see T-Bone paying tribute to the late, great, Roy Orbison during his A Black and White Night concert....

his daughter molly wrote killer moon when she was little in the back seat one nite.

That's Jerry Douglas on Dobro. He's been playing with Alison Krauss and Union Station in recent years (among many others too).

Before seeing this, I had only heard the Leslie Philips version. That one is good, but this one is better.
