There were minor visual differences to keep the audience fooled, but underneath they were effectively the same car designed by Newey and those around him. From 2009, Red Bull technology were no longer allowed to share designs with STR so Newey and his team had no part in developing the 2009/10/11 cars, hence why they suck.

schumacher actually braked earlier which meant that he could accelerate out of the corner much sooner. look at the video where schumacher's driving style is compared to herbert if you don't believe me.

You mentioned so many drivers who have something in common. They have huge ego. In this sport if you don't praise yourself and if you're not pessimistic then you can not be an F1 driver. or even in every other sport. These drivers are doing what is best to fulfill their inner satisfaction. Actually we may say that in every job. Hamilton (since you mentioned him) doesn't have ego???He might be the worst. And that placed him on the podium and made him Champion.

Agreed. Now we´re talking the same language, all of them are ego top drivers, and they need it to be the best. All of them or most had made dirty tricks,etc. Don´t forget Senna-Prost crashed within the same team, Alonso at pits with Hamilton, and viceversa. Schumacher has beaten Hakkinen, Villeneuve, Montoya(!),Raikonnen and many others good on level of Massa Webber or Vettel, like Coulthard, Hill, Ralf Schumacher so no doubt he is a true legend. Lewis shouldn't have any serious competitors in 2008 -only his stupid msitakes let Raikkonen and Massa to hope for WC in 2008. Lewis is a great driver but with no chance to dominate F1

Well, fact remains. He still beat the two time champion Alonso in his ROOKIE year in F1. A lot of the tracks he hadn't even been to. This annoyed Alonso so much he broke his contract with McLaren and rejoined Renault
At least Prost accepted his defeat to Senna in 1988 when the two were team mates in McLaren. In 1989 Prost was champion again, with McLaren, and Senna was 2nd. If they counted all the points in 1988 and 1989 (they just counted the 11 best races) Prost would win both

@legia97 I think winning a title puts you up there with the best of them. It's not like there's a dozen champions each year, you know. It still takes a lot of skill and determination to win a title in Formula 1 and this year, driving a car that is not fast enough for Red Bull, he is showing skill. I think we can say that Hamilton is one of the best young drivers out there and if he goes on like this, he will be one of the best period.

lol, you mean Black Flag? Red Flag means the race/ qually/ practise session is stopped due to severe rain or, in most cases, a huge crash in which debris is left all over the track (e.g. Brazil '03).
Black flag is for dq, such as Schumacher here, Montoya in Canada '06, etc...

We're talking when he was in his prime here. Hill? Not close. Villeneuve? Not close. Hakkinen was a decent opponent of course but only for a relatively short period of time - Schumacher kept it going for many years.

As for post-1998 - Montoya promised but wasn't consistent enough. He was good wheel to wheel I'll give him that.

There's not many (if any) other drivers out there that could have got the '97 and '98 Ferrari into championship contention!
By 2006 he was perhaps past his absolute best, but he was still a class driver (look at his last race in Brasil).
