I always put two spaces between the period and a new sentence. An old professor actually reamed us out for NOT doing that!

you can also change the size of the spaces. A size 14 space is bigger than a size 12 space and there are a lot more spaces in a paper then periods.

good idea, but I've never had a single teacher who based the grade of the paper on its length. They're much more concerned about quality.

exactly... but now days u could have a BRILLIANT 3pg paper, with nothing but godliness in it, and they would give fail u..if u put in 2 more pages of filler and bullshit, u get the "A"...
