  • would you happen to know how to fix a key-less trunk opener for a 00 nissan sentra?

  • i have a 2005 pontiac grand am. it was working good not until i change the battery, it just not working after i did it. please tell me how to fix it

    thanks

  • @MrHenz07 - Your problem is actually pretty common and mentioned in the video. The remote WILL NOT lose its programming from simply changing the battery so keep that in mind. What's happened to yours is that the silver, springy, piece of metal that goes around the battery has come loose from the circuit board of the remote control. When you pulled the battery out, it probably finally came loose. You will have to take it back apart and solder the silver piece back to the board.Or put a shim in it

  • hello uploader.. need your help. i have a remote keyless entry for my 2005 pontiac grand am. after changing the battery it suddenly does not work.. how to fix it? thank

  • oh ok, I thought it was the 2025 battery, i'll try the 2032 maybe

that will work since I have that same remote for my 99' buick park ave, thanks for the help I hope this will solve my problem

  • what kind of battery is that???????????

  • @MRagainstTHEodds - Its a CR2032 which is the most common remote battery on the market. Although every now and then you will find a remote that takes one that is slightly thinner.

  • When I take the battery out will I have to reprogram the keyfob?

  • @2Lazy2SignUp - Not just with taking it out. The program is stored on a chip inside a solid state chip inside the remote so you should have no worries. Sometimes though one will just lose its program and will have to be done again.

  • Thanks you save me $200.00
