I think people makes more of "3 times world champ" than it really deserves. If its in the same division, you actually has to lose it a couple of times. Not saying that Ali or anyone that has the same record is nothing but a great fighter. But having won the title Like Louis and keping the title for 11 years is for me a greater accomplishment.

@connymat Well another way of looking at it is that it is easy to win a belt when you are in prime form but once boxers lose it they haven't got what it takes to take it back. Foreman was most certainly the hot favorite but Ali showed great resilience. I say you watch the video "when we were kings ali vs foreman". And again leonard was a great too. He actually won 5-6 titles in different divisions not the same.

I heard Mayweather say that he is the greatest, I thought he may have had a point, but after watching this I forgot how good Ali was.

Its not only the boxing but the fact that he fought against oppression in the Vietnam war and the humor he brought to the sport, WHICH is why he will ALWAYS be the GREATEST. No one else can ever take his place.
