In Christianity God is all powerful and omnipresent. I understand in Islam he is not. In fact he's bound by the heavens, he even sends angels to look over your shoulder detailing every good and bad deed. Well, our God is all powerful, he sees everything, there are things in his book that are factual and we will never full understand while serving our time on this Earth. I'm sorry if you disagree, but perhaps you should focus on addressing the inconsistencies of Islam instead.

You're not paying attention to what I'm saying. God in Christianity is ALL POWERFUL. He can simply say it and it is. He doesn't need fire to create light. He doesn't need day and night to create time. My point was that there are things in the bible that we cannot explain. That's not to say it's false. As men we are bound by the laws of physics... God is not bound by anything.

I'm not upset in any way, shape, or form. As I pointed out these are valid atheist arguments and I have heard them all before. I don't have all the answers because all the answers aren't there.
There are literally tens of thousands of manuscripts from the second century to which we can compare. With the discovery of the dead sea scrolls within the last century we have even more piles of information pointing to the meticulous copying of the bible.

The key words here are "only begotten" now flip your bible to Psalm 2:7...does David also claim to be a "begotten son" of God? Rather I believe either of those scriptures (btw I don't), the point remains how could Christians claim that Jesus is "the only begotten son" when David declared God stated he too was begotten?

In Christianity God is all powerful and omnipresent. I understand in Islam he is not. In fact he's bound by the heavens, he even sends angels to look over your shoulder detailing every good and bad deed. Well, our God is all powerful, he sees everything, there are things in his book that are factual and we will never full understand while serving our time on this Earth. I'm sorry if you disagree, but perhaps you should focus on addressing the inconsistencies of Islam instead.

You're not paying attention to what I'm saying. God in Christianity is ALL POWERFUL. He can simply say it and it is. He doesn't need fire to create light. He doesn't need day and night to create time. My point was that there are things in the bible that we cannot explain. That's not to say it's false. As men we are bound by the laws of physics... God is not bound by anything.
Why doesn't Dr. Zakir talk about the first line in the bible which is proven to be 100% accurate?

I'm not upset in any way, shape, or form. As I pointed out these are valid atheist arguments and I have heard them all before. I don't have all the answers because all the answers aren't there.
There are literally tens of thousands of manuscripts from the second century to which we can compare. With the discovery of the dead sea scrolls within the last century we have even more piles of information pointing to the meticulous copying of the bible.

By the way I have a very good grasp of science which is why I am an athiest. Now if someone back then had said that the sun produces its energy by way of thermo nuclear reactions etc, that would be different.

i would hardly consider the sun revolving as a supernatural phenomenon. i am asking for an example of something supernatural that scientists have verified to be supernatural, as your claim suggested.
in the Islamic Golden Age (750-1258 CE), the middle east had strong traditions of astronomical SCIENCE, so it's not surprising the Quran at least got that right.

@princedesouza There are far more errors than noted ie John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His 'only begotten son', that who...". The key words here are "only begotten" now flip your bible to Psalm 2:7...does David also claim to be a "begotten son" of God? Rather I believe either of those scriptures (btw I don't), the point remains how could Christians claim that Jesus is "the only begotten son" when David declared God stated he too was begotten?

There is no error in John 3:16 the word begotten is accurate.when we think of begotten, we tend to think of male and female n sex. but when Jesus became man, his body was made from the seed of the virgin woman. i will post a link in my next comment to better understand the birth of Jesus

@princedesouza..But the funny thing is that his given references so your suggesting all scriptures are wrong to be a christian is to follow the teaching of jesus and as christians say bible is the word of god then why would god make mistakes thats hugely disrespectful..?..so how are we ever to find out the meaning of the bible if you lot are being "deaf and dumb" as it says in the quran...from what you said makes me belive christianity is the most corrupted religion in the world

@GamerFTW21 dude, Jesus (a.s.) was not Greek, and Bible was originally given in Arameik (Hebrew), ok, if u say that Bible was given in Greek, where is the logiv? imagine i came to u and said God's word in Russsian, or Chinese, will it make sence?
As for Ahmad Deedat, in that case why your "Biblival Scholars" cannot reply anothing appropriately? And you Biblical scholars admit that current version of Bible has lots of mistake, whilst Quran is only one, no mistake on it ;)

I've been thinking and it come up that 1. to 10. are errors in interpretation. They're rather misunderstandings of Genesis as political postulate instead of as the chronicle of points of earthlings' view in God's CHANGING universe.

If the Holy Bible is wrong then the Holy Quran must also be wrong.If you argue against that then you do not know your own scriptures.Dr naik commits blasphemy everytime he rails against the Holy Bible.He has a gift and uses that gift to make a mockery of Gods word.On the last day he will be punished.

@sealsareopen as any Muslim, we believe that Injeel (Gospel) was sent to Jesus (pbuh) but, Unlike Quran, Bible was changed many many times and human being corrupted it, perhaps there are some truth in whatever is called Bible, but falsehood is also there
Quran was preserved in a way that no one can corrupt it, and Allah says that if Quran was not from Allah, human beings would find contradictions, and no one has found yet, and will never ;)
