I never watched an entire season of a show that made me laugh as much as this one and yet in the last 2 minutes I literally teared up. Brilliant writing to not have a hint of sadness throughout but then hit you with all that emotion right at the end. I was bugging out when smouse pulled up and couldn't help but laugh just at the sight of him even through the tears.

@TUCC1919 chris lilley does one season long shows. And summer heights high kind of got cancelled. There was a real annabell dixion that OD-ed on drugs. That is why they had a disclaimer saying that they were all fictional charcters and everything.

Way to ruin the ending (jk) -- my own fault for watching. Chris Lilley is such a genius. On top of his incredible humor, he blends sincere heartwarming scenes. He is so talented! Since he has never done more than one season of his shows prior - does anyone know if there will be a season two of 'Angry Boys'?

The audience were lead to believe that Gran forgot to invite the legends so none of them would be coming, but in the end we found out that she actually DID invite them, she just forgot that she did :D Also, I think it makes her seem more vulnerable. At first, in prison, she seemed as tough as nails, but later we saw another side to Gran.

@definatalieee I wish they'd shown the Alzheimer's a bit sooner, rather than spring it onto us so close to the end. By that time I was still convinced she'd sent the invites out, and making her vulnerable didn't seem to serve much purpose other than to attempt an unexpected ending. She was a much better character when she lived in a "perfect vacuum" so to speak.

S.mouse got the letter about the squashed nigger. We see Tim Okazaki get his fan mail and he read through it ergo seeing this. And Blake oakfield must got it via the first reason. Gran sent the invite then deleted it and forgot.
