  • Glad she's doing better from LDN. Noticing from the video her opening up some white bread. She could probably lay of that crap as well as look at her diet. It would help her some more.

  • Please "LIKE" this LOW DOSE NALTREXONE FACEBOOK PAGE:

go to facebook dot com and forward slash "lowdosenaltrexone" all one word

  • I have anquilosing spondilitis , I am with LDN since a month and I am really better , my doctor dont prescribe it , he says he never hear about it , the doctor of a friend also dont hear about it but he prescribe this medicine to me and says "be alert" ,

padezco espondilitis anquilosante , llevo 1 mes con LDN y he mejorado mucho , mi doctor no me la receto porque no la conoce , un medico de un amigo tampoco la conoce pero si me la receto , gracias a todos por informarme !!!!!

  • imnotabear, you are beyond ignorant. I and my wife have studied about inflamatory's and diet for MS. I guarantee you that I eat better than you, mostly organic, i work out daily, dont smoke. i still suffer from symptoms related to MS. How dare you make a comment like that when you clearly have no clue what we deal with. Go crawl back under your rock, you ignorant moron!

  • I tried it for Crohns, didn't do shit.

  • the science isn't behind it becuae it doesn't suit the big pharmaceutical companies.... they want more new expensive drugs....no profit in something that already works.

  • big Pharma will never Back it because it is off label and cannot be copy right. so forget them backing it, they cant. I have MS and have been on LDN 1 year on the 1st of July. I never miss a dose! it stops the progression of MS and I have not had a exacerbation in that year, because I am also CCSVI Liberated.

  • I am a doctor who will prescribe it for various conditions as long as the patient signs an informed consent. I definately helps with MS and cancer.

Steve Parcell, ND 303.884.7557 Boulder, CO

  • @steveparcell62 Good. I hope you have read about Hempoil and cancer.

  • @MrPannlob Yes, according to University of Rostock in Germany medical marijuana can be an effective treatment for cancer. Their research was published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute Advance Access on December 25th of 2007 in a paper entitled Inhibition of Cancer Cell Invasion by Cannabinoids via Increased Expression of Tissue Inhibitor of Matrix Metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1).

  • imnotabear, is that like telling a soldier who lost their leg in a battle to "forget about the prosthetic leg, just hop around?" Hmm, I bet you never needed any drugs for anything?

  • forget stupid drugs - fix your diet & lifestyle

  • Low Dose Naltrexone is the first people powered medication

  • I started on LDN I had to order it from a New Zealand pharm, called Nodict in foil strips I compound it myself with 50 ml distilled water and one 50 mg mix well with each dose. I am so happy I did I have gotten bonus from it, my knee arhritis is so much less painful.. it tastes bitter, add your dose to small tea or juice its bitter tasting. GOOD LUCK its so worth trying, I feel great.. in only 12 days so far.

  • People suffering from ibd and autoimmune disorders, check out 'Dr Raphael Mechoulem' from the hebrew university of Jerusalem he goes into great detail on the Endogenous cannabinoid system, its no big pharma quack crap!! its genuine science, also there is some great info from Dr Bob Melamede an associate professor of biology at the University of Colorado. good medicinal cannabis has immune modulating power that surpasses any pharma drugs,im currently cutting down on 6mp and eating gd QhashhighinCBD

  • does LDN help other autoimmune diseases?

and it seems to work by increasing endorphins.. can the same thing be done with exercise? what else can we do to increase endorphins?

  • ldn took for 5days couldnt sleep for 4 so i stoped taking now im having a relapes any input thanks for ms

  • @22bellas

Wait until you are sleepy then take it. The sleep interference will go away with time. I dont think an antihistamine like benedryl interferes with it in our experience.

LDN for our family has helped severe RA, Fibro, Sarcoma (in my dog and ms type symtoms in another old dog), severe asthma, allergic dermatitis and RLS remarkably well . Also cured severe shingles in an associate. Been on for 3 yrs now.

  • @easynowww

Like or dislike what you want. Nothing works for everyone, and everyone will die of something and nothing will change that. Every healer eventually loses every patient and you can take that to the bank.

  • lobeline is in lobelia inflata herb(Indian Tobacco). It has mu opioid antagonist properties like naltrexone.

  • Several yahoo LDN groups will help you find prescribing Dr's.

  • Nice video,

  • Excellent new LDN video on youtube. Explains precisely how LDN works. posted by LDNscience

  • i hope more studies about this drug because i have Fibromyalgia and i want to feel better

  • interesting story. wow, a a brother an sister both with MS. thank you FlameysTrust for sharing this piece with me

  • I take LDN for (supposed) Fibromyalgia, it has done more to control pain and improve fatigue than ANY thing else. Forget Cymbalta and Lyrica this stuff did me far more good. If they tell you you have CFS or Fibro look into it!

  • Here's my question: Does taking Naltrexone at it's normal does also have these positive "side effects". (And if not, why not?)

In addition to being a severe alcoholic, I have immune disorders, and digestive disorders galore. Plus very mild autism. I would hate to find out about two things on the same day , that can both really help me. Only to discover that they're mutually exclusive.

  • This is my understanding of it: It only helps auto immune disorders in the low dose because it needs to temporarily turn off the endorphine receptors, but then allow the body to produce more endorphins during the day. in high doses it keeps the receptors turned off 24/7 so I guess the body doesn't have enough time to recover.

  • LDN doesnt do anything other then alcohol withdrawals and some few other dieases but a lot of its exagerrated big time. Its just scheme to make money. Take it from me as a user of it for 5 years.

  • The science behind LDN is there. We know exactly how it works.

And we know it is safe. The effective LDN doses for all illnesses other than narcotics addiction are all less than 1/10th of the FDA approved dose.

  • I've had severe migraines and fibromyalgia for 20+ yrs

Currently on MS contin (slow release morphine) + Tylenol 3

    Pain & fatigue uncontrolled

Anyone else in my boat - what about results?

  • join a yahoo LDN group. the members should know of doctors to recommed you to.

  • how do i get LDN, i been diagnosed with MS for 4 months and both my feet and half of my face are numb

    any tips would be appreciated

  • I shared some information about this drug with a friend who has MS.

  • i am trying this and hoping and praying it helps!

  • could it be plusceebo?

  • It's possible, it would have to be a clinical trial though.

  • I have secondary progressive ms. I can't take usual drugs Rxd for the overwhelming fatigue I've had every day for so many years. My weakness was increasing, as was my nerve pain despite taking meds. Within a couple days of starting LDN I noticed much less fatigue, increased strength (which proved true at my next ms specialist appt), & virtually no pain.Since it works on the endorphins,it helped with my worsening depression, also. Somehow, we need more research!! Big pharma doesn't care, no $

  • I am so happy to hear about your progress!

  • This is so much better than shots! And i rather go through the horrible nightmares than the fear of the needle! I hope i am able to use this!

  • Don't stop the shots, but maybe try this as a helper not a replacement.

  • Acupuncture is similar to LDN...

thats why scientist needs to look into this..

  • This is the first option available, that has begun helping me, to overcome Lyme Disease. It has only been several weeks, but I find symptoms subsiding, and gaining some strength. It is helping my immune system to take this on, along with a strict diet..."NO SUGARS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING FUITS!" You tube....."Controlling Lyme Disease," where I have made comments....under a thoughtful persons video on LDN. I have passed this on to a friend with MS, and into the lyme Community. Thank you. :)

  • Because LDN is an opioid blocker...pain pills won't work...but the good news is, the LDN took all of my step mom's pain away. She never took pain meds for it since they didn't work so that was never an issue. My biological mom also has fibromyalgia and takes an herbal remedy called Pho-Ti for her pain (not sure of the spelling but sounds like Fo T ). She says it works but she has to take a lot of it. Has she been to a fibromyalgia clinic?

  • My girlfriend just was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. She was told that this product can help her. After reading more into this product I found that if you are taking opiates (she is taking lortab) that you should not use this product (LDN) Is anyone taking these pain killer products for pain? If not or if so, can you offer suggestions on how she can use this product?

  • My step mom started out taking 3 mg of LDN at night 1 hour before bedtime. On day 2 she noticed most of her pain was gone. She increased her dose of LDN to 4.5 mg shortly thereafter...I think one month....and she continues to do very well. Tell your girlfriend to give it a shot. It has really done wonders for her quality of life.

  • oh yea...I got my step mom taking it for her fibromyalgia. On day 3 she woke up with NO pain. Amazing. She can also walk 2 miles a day now. I can also go running. Something that would have sent me to bed for a week before. This is amazing!!!

  • I seen a message that you had posted on youTube. I posted a message related to your message about the LDN and fibromyalgia. Was your Mom on pain killers? My girlfriend was told not to take LDN if she was on pain killers. This would be hard because she is really in pain. The message that I posted was under the name of seo101wss

  • I have MS & have been taking LDN for 4 months. It's been an absolute miracle in my life. It's cheap ($15/ month) & It works! I'm so happy! I have tons of energy & all of my symptoms are gone. I am indeed in remission. Finally! I get my Rx shipped to me from Skipps Pharmacy in Florida. You can call any pharmacy that compounds LDN & ask them for a list of dr's who prescribe LDN in your state. They will give you names & phone numbers for you to find a doctor in your area.

  • I've been on LDN for 4 months also, this is the best thing that ever happened to me..I finally got my life back. I can walk better, not as sluggish, keep my job...but most of all, do sports again..this stuff is amazing. But please remember that a good diet goes along with it. And sleep, mainly a good night's sleep 7 or 8 hours if you can.

  • Does anyone have data or opinions on how Obama's proposed government run healthcare would affect the low cost and availability of LDN? Would we still have the freedom to consult with doctors of our choice to get the RX?

  • Everyone should check out the Multiple sclerosis resource centre website and put Naltrexone or LDN in the search.

  • I took ldn during herion withdrawl because i could get methedone and i got it from a junkie who had been in a clinic. within and hr. of taking the pill i went into instant withdrawl. it drained all the junk at once and by the time the ambulence came by i was blind and almost dead. it apparently relieves symptoms of alcohol and drug abuse after withdrawl but

causes exquisite torture and or death during.

GIVING THIS TO JUNKIES IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!

    drug and alcohol abuse

  • bellydweller - I take slow release morphine (MS contin) for chronic pain (fibromyalgia + migraines) please tell me about safety of LDN

  • This is for anyone in Sydney Australia looking to try LDN

Your regular GP can prescribe LDN. ...The compounding chemist I used is Cincotta Chemist in Merrylands $1 a capsule. I hope this helps. I started using LDN only 6 days ago. ....

  • Hi Carmel2750 am glad hear you started taking LDN I am living in Sydney and my compounding is from Richard Stenlake compounding chemist in 1/76 Spring St Bondi Junction, fortunately my doctor gave me the prescription. If you have problems get it the prescription I can give you information about the doctor.....

  • Hi! Glad to meet an other another person taking LDN. Thank you for your offer to help me. But I am Ok.I have been taking LDN now for 4 months.

and glad to say feeling so much better in so many ways. I do have friends that are newly diagnosed that would love to find a GP willing to prescribe LDN before they end up in wheelchair. My GP is hesitant to prescribe to newly diagnosed. If you can help I would appreciate it.

  • I've been using it for almost a year. Along with diet, it has REALLY helped. I walk now with a cane and used to be completely dependent. Do your research. It works. Since it is already FDA approved, Big Pharma can't make money on it. So the only reason you hear negative anything is because Big Pharma gets loads of money from the traditional drugs that cost a fortune.

  • big pharma wants us to stay sick. Managing (so they say) is stuffing their pockets with greens. Wake up and smell the deception in the medical establishment.

  • I have not given up yet.

can you please make something clear to me.

    Questions..

is the Dose 3mg taken once a day at night.?

it should NOT be a slow release.?

    and what filler is preferred?...

and what cost should I expect ?. when I purchase via mail order from New York.

hope you don't mind my questions, it is so depressing knowing there is something out there that will help me and not be able to get it.

  • Low Dose Naltrexone comes in 3mg and 4.5mg. You should start out on 3mg, this may be sufficient. It is taken at night between 9 and 12am. It should not be in a time release form. The fillers are different depending what compounding pharmacy you use. Some use lactose which can cause problems if you are lactose intolerant. I use Skips Pharmacy in Boca Raton, FL and I can't remember what they use but I have no side effects.I'm lactose intolerant. I pay .05 per pill plus around $6for shipping

  • Hi

    Thanks for the info.

I am glad to report my Dr has decided to right the script for me, So with the info you have given me and what I have researched on the net I am now one step closer to LDN.

Skips pharmacy can't ship to Australia, so I hope I don't have a problem getting the script filled in AU. I shouldn't have any problems. Thank you for all your help, and i will post my results after taking LDN.

    fingers and toes crossed......

  • I'm so happy to hear that. I'm sure there are compounding pharmacies in Australia. Good luck to you. I also just watched another video on a broadcast on LDN for MS so word is definitely getting out. Its ashamed it just took 15 or more years. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

  • I'm sure one reason doctors won't readily prescribe this is because they go to school 8-10 years and they don't know about this drug and then a patient is going to tell them how to be a doctor and how great this medicine is and they want to try it, not to mention its not FDA approved. I did alot of researching about MS and this drug before I approached my doctor. I had answers for all his questions and made it almost impossible to turn me down. So, keep on trying, do your homework and pray.

  • I have tried my GP to prescribe LDN no luck says he can't prescribe it, tried my Neuro he WONT prescribe it. Pain clinic has 5mth wait just to get in. and prob to get let down again I suspect. Today I am trying my GP again. wish me luck.. I am desperate.

Do I have to become an alcoholic to get LDN in AU because I think I can make it happen.

    I will keep trying.

  • We hope you will not have to go to the extreme to be heard. Your GP needs to listen to you. Not his/her wallet. Why are doctors AFRAID of this "wonder" drug? You are in our thoughts and prayers. My wife tells me prayer works!

  • Typically doctors cant think outside the box - If its not in the text book, it does not exist!

You (the patient) must be CRAZY because I (the Dr) dont know about it >;-O

CRAZY = MS, Fibromyalgia, CFS, migraines, depression, bi-polar, Stress Disorders, & all other invisible disabilities

  • @lovesflsun Just make sure you don't tell the doc that prayer works. He will think you're a nut and not prescribe the drug. Prayer MAY have a placebo effect, NOTHING more.

  • @carmel2750 several LDN yahoo groups will help you find prescribing Dr's.

    Good luck

  • @carmel2750 ORDER IT ONLINE.. go to the yahoo LDN Groups they tell you in the groups what online pharms are the most reliable!!

  • I just saw another story on LDN by Ali Gorman. She's the one who interviewed me for this video. We need alot more Ali's out there so everyone will be able to hear about this Wonder Drug. It has given me my life back, I haven't felt so good in years. I tried so many of the FDA approved drugs with terrible side effects and I take this pill nightly with no side effects, maybe a few vivid dreams. I honestly don't know how researchers and doctors can keep quiet about this drug and rest soundly.

  • Ali's a great person to work with. I used to work with her and she's one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Please help us keep up the fight Ali!!

  • I'm having a side effect from one capsule now, don't know when this will get out of my system but I fell horrible, like a buzzing all over my body. it's very bad

  • I'm sorry to hear of the side effect, but I have never heard of abyone having one before. Were you taking any other medicines with it? I;ve actuaaly taken two before, on accident, and I didn't feel any bad effects. Maybe you should call the compounding pharmacy where you had the prescription filled. Some pharmacies use lactose as a filler, some celulose. Maybe you had a reaction to that. Let me know what you find out, and how you're doing.

  • I bet you took a 50 mg dose. The low dose amount is 3 mg to start. If 3 mg works, keep at that dose; otherwise, you can increase up to a maximum of 4.5 mg.

  • For my Lyme Disease, I used Irmat Pharmacy in New York, and Marcie the compounding Pharmacist provided my LDN, (Dr, faxed in) a topical cream, so that I have complete control over dosage. So I need not repeat myself, You tube...."Controlling Lyme Disease," where I have been posting progress. We all deal with dosage. Go slow and use the cream. You can make a dot this small if needed. "O" Increase as your body adjusts. This is too awesome to miss out on. My dosing, I am detailing and it is low.

  • And diet is key. No sugars, including fruit, no dairy, soy or grains.

  • I'm so glad to see there is still active response to this video. I just got home from a Ladies Retreat with our church, was on the go, stayed up late, up early and a long drive home and I had no fatigue. Prior to LDN I would have been in bed half the weekend and all day on Monday. Ldn gave me my life back.

  • That is excellent news!!! We are so happy for you to be able to "kick" MS's butt!! We will keep you informed if my Wife's Doc caves in to LDN.... There's always hoping.. Hugs to you!!!

  • I found your Video after seeing your post on bobby19651966... i will talk to my Dr about it.

I am in Australia. Thank you for posting

  • Carmel, We hope your Doc is receptive to your asking about it. Our prayers are with you! We have to get the word out about this wonder drug. By the way, you live in one of the most BEAUTIFUL countries!! Hugs to you! John and Lissa in Jacksonville, Florida.

  • you live on your pc as well... thank you again ....have a nice day..

  • yes, that's what I do for a living. Well, not really live on it. LOL. Have a nice day too!

  • I am the reporter who wrote the story in Charleston. The article didn't tell that I had full-blown AIDS, nearly died and for over 2 years, I have only taken LDN with no opportunistic diseases, which is what kills AIDS patients. LDN is safe, virtually no side effects, no drug resistance and is inexpensive, $25.00 a month. While on LDN my blood and liver reports have returned to normal, something not happening while on the antiretroviral medicines. We have a miracle drug here and now!

  • Hey there Girl!! Congratulations!!! Kill that terrible disease AIDS!! I suppsose the Docs are scared of a miracle drug. I am aware that not all drugs work for all people, but at least wouldn't the doc or patient want to try something that is working WONDERS for some?

  • Dr Kantor My sister was diagnosed with MS three years ago. We came across LDN and it has had her in remission for 3 years. It is a godsend. You made a comment about science being unable to understand the mechanism behind MS. This is true of many meds which are currently freely prescribed and is basically beside the point - it works! Use it!

  • Hi, this is Lori from the video. I noticed on the Today Show where MS and other autoimmune diseases are on the rise. They said that research should be thinking of ways to build up the immune system instead of knocking it down the way all FDA approved drugs do now. Why don't they realize some of us have already been doing that with LDN.

  • Lori, thanks for visiting!! We hope you are doing well (better than in the video we hope!!)..

I, the hubby (my wife has the MS) , am a HHUGE supporter of LDN. My beef is with the doctors who are not keep to prescribing LDN, who want to see the science behind it. Aren't the patients taking LDN a good-enough study?? Put your egos aside and why does the science matter anyway? It works for some and it may help countless more!!!

    Please take care!!!

  • I felt I needed to reply after reading this again. I don't understand why they need to see the science behind it before they prescribe LDN. Of course, if so many patients were helped and no longer needed the doctors I guess alot of them would be out of work. Its a vicious cycle, as long as there is disease with no cure then the need for researchers and doctors remains. There is probably cures out there for many things that are kept from te public.

  • Yep, what are they afraid of? NO kickbacks? Hmmmm... Plus, what's the science behind a lot of things? The "science" is that it works for some people and it may not for others, like aspirin, Tylenol or Advil. Let the patients try it! Do the MS doctors have MS too? Would they not want to try any and everything to stop/delay/prevent this horrible disease? It's clear my wife's med (Betaseron) is not doing the trick. She's too tired too much.

  • We neurologists want to continue good clinical trials of LDN, but this is expensive if it going to be done right (MRIs etc.).

  • As the neurologist in the video, I appreciate all the comments and interest in LDN and in MS treatments.

I want to set things straight though:

    1. We do not know the mechanism by which LDN works (it might have nothing to do with autoimmunity and instead with apoptosis, cell death).

    2. While it is true that big Pharma is not doing research into LDN, there is no reason why they should -- it is not their product. It is the responsibility of the NIH and private donors to fund this research.

  • so, Doctor - it's true - BP is not interested in solving this illness - Too much money to lose all the way around. What's in your wallet??

  • I am just so happy to see how many people have viewed this video. I'm hoping now morepeople will see the benefits of this drug and be asking their doctor for a prescription.

  • LDN's patent expired years ago, opening the market to cheap generics. This is why big pharm won't invest money in researching it. We need to rally behind publicly funded research!

  • Awesome info, but is the audio "off" for everyone? Hard to follow....

  • I've been diag. w/RRMS for the last 10 years. I've been on Copaxone & I'm currently taking Avonex. I HATE the side affects of Avonex. What should I say to my neuro if I want to consider trying LDN? His theory is that if I have no problems with what I already take then there's no reason to change! Thanks for reading ~ Andrea, New Jersey

  • Always great to see more publicity on LDN. I've been on it for almost a year and it has worked wonders for my progressive CFS/ME (I'm not well, but I'm like a different person now). I'm anxiously waiting for the publication of the results from the phase III MS trial, because that will no doubt be the real start of LDN revolution.

I'm also working on finishing the English version of my book about CFS/ME and fibromyalgia treatments, which will of course include LDN.

  • I've had severe migraines and fibromyalgia for 20+ yrs

Currently on MS contin (slow release morphine) + Tylenol 3

My pain & fatigue are uncontrolled

    Do you recommend LDN?

    Please advise

  • You cannot use naltrexone when you are using an opiate. You would have to stop using the morphine for a few weeks before you could try the naltrexone. Otherwise, you would suffer terrible pain and withdrawal symptoms.

  • I have been on LDN for two years. No relapses. The doctor that started all of this..has been using LDN for MS and other immune diseases since the 80's. I had to go to another neuro because my first wouldn't hear of it. My body, my fight! I understand though in this sue happy society. Thank God for doctors willing to go outside the box! My advice..if you want to go on LDN..educate yourself and seek out another doc.

  • I agree 100%. As in the video I stated it took me 6 months to get my dr to prescribe it. I had used all their drugs nothing worked except the side affects. Now maybe something can come out of this to let the researchers know they are working in the wrong dirction. Quit wasting money and time and find more drugs that build up the immune system instead of destroying it.

  • this is my mom..i am so proud of her and glad that she was able to talk about the ldn..i know that it has helped her out..i wish that the fda would approve this drug so that more and more people would be able to take it..

  • LDN is also great for Hasimoto.

    we have very good experience

  • For those taking LDN, I have a question. Have there been any negative side affects? I have had MS for 24 years and I'm 42. My doctor wont' prescribe it w/o clinical proven studies. I also hear it is a cheap drug, so Drug companies won't back it b/c there's no money to be made for them.

  • I have not found any negative side affects. I do have very vivid dreams, they seem so real at times. I am no longer in any pain, I use to take hydrocodone to relieve it. With this drug you cannot take any oppoids at all. Combination may be lethal, but why use them if there is no pain. Goodluck.

  • LDN has worked for me for over one year now with stage 4B cancer when told only months to live in Feb 2007. Oncologists only offered palliative chemo but LDN has saved my life and given me a chance.

I thank Dr. Bihari and Mary Bradley Boyle for all their efforts in bringing LDN to the masses.

  • I have RRMS and have been prescribed this by a doctor in the UK. Within a few days of taking a nightly 3mg dose, my symptoms had improved and I felt 100% better. Great to see LDN coverage in the news.

  • LDN also worked for husband, Noel, who has PPMS. I published a book about our experience, "Up the Creek with a Paddle" in 2005. Noel has no new symptoms since he started 4.5mg LDN in september 2002. It is wonderful to see LDN make the news!! Well done!!

  • Mary, Thank you for all your work to bring the public's attention to LDN...Your book is the best, I have read it several times and highly recommend it. Very inspirational! BTW, I have MS & have been taking LDN successfully for going on 8 years...
