  • @SomeLittleKidd thanks, you are awesome :)

  • ive looked at this game three times at the game store and just laughed at the cover of it. But this actually looks fun. I'm going to buy it next time.

  • @atypicalmystery It actually is a fun, although short, game!

  • Jeremy, I just played this game with the Game Genie, and I found out that there are four distinct endings:

3rd place: This is the one that you got.

2nd place: Kirk describes "that other guy" as a "blur" and is confident that we can get first place.

1st place: Kirk is happy and can't wait to do it again.

Not enough qualifying points after the park: Kirk says they'll let us skate for fun before the actual racers compete. Afterwards, he says it was nice of them, but he wants to compete.

  • awesome, thanks for letting me know! sort of rare for an NES game to have different endings so that's pretty cool. this is one of those games that wasn't as bad as i remembered for some reason, i actually had fun playing it

  • I just got this game today! (: and wow is it intersting to say the least. Lol and its made by Hi Tech who made great games such as barbie.....yeaaaaaaa

  • haha, yikes i didn't know they made barbie... maybe i just lost a little respect for the company now, lol

  • No, they published both games. Radiance developed this game (as well as The Great Waldo Search) and Imagineering developed Barbie (who did several NES titles like Home Alone 2, Swamp Thing, Bart Vs The Space Mutants, Bart Vs The World, Race America). There's also a DOS version of Rollerblade Racer while having better graphics sucks more. There's also a female version of Kirk named Trish.

  • Hehe, I have this game! I used to play it all of the time but never did beat it. Nice review!

  • thanks mark!!! wow, i just checked out your channel and it's awesome!

  • When I first played this game I got into it until the beach and park level and the really bad ending. Stephan L. Butler could of done better

  • ok, i had to google Stephan L. Butler, lol. i am impressed!

yea, the ending was horrible, but the game had its fun moments

  • LOL you were hauling so much ass on that last level.

  • yea, tell me about it! i used to hate the game but i have to say after playing it all the way through i did have fun :)

  • This was quite hilarious.

  • thanks :)

  • If you think that was bad, you shoulda seen the ending for 2nd place... it's just as crappy!! This game sucked so much ass it should be in the video game hall of shameful CRAP!!

  • hey, i actually liked this game although it was too short

  • Really? O-o I enjoyed it, too... that is, until I found out the endings suck. o-o

  • lol, yea the ending did suck... that's the problem with a lot of the old NES games, they didn't really have room to program good endings

  • That's true for MOST games. But, I think there were a few good endings in most games. I.E. Contra, RollerGames, Super Dodge Ball, the Rad Racer series, Final Fantasy, Rush'N Attack, Zelda I & II and much more. But, I think the number of crappy endings (for both FamiCom and NES) majorly outweigh the good ones. XP

  • man this game looks bad and boring

  • Once I got used to it I actually had fun playing it. The game was too short though

  • cool. maybe gonna try it

  • kewl! XD

  • thanks!

  • what did you mean with ''ripp off'' which game is famailiar to this one?

  • i don't remember saying rip off, but the game reminded me a lot of paperboy

  • yes it reminds you of annother game. that i meant

  • Those games look so primitive these days - yet back then they seemed like the biggest deal there could be.

  • yea, i still prefer old school graphics myself. SNES was the greatest system EVER and I'd take those graphics any day over the "realistic" stuff today. That's another reason I love the Wii so much is because graphics is not a primary concern. let our imagination run wild and do all the work instead of giving us a video game that looks like a movie, especially with role playing games... that's what i think anyways

  • lol

  • yea, I hate rap myself but I have to admit I like that Handlebar song. And yea, it's a nice looking game, very colorful. I love old school graphics though :)

  • That rap at the end was pretty good. I normally don't like rap, but that was pretty good.

Graphic Wise, this game looks pretty good, I am surprised that there wasn't any flicker. But graphics don't make the game.
