It is very clear and everybody knew that ' Our Prophet Muhammed's ( PBUH) beloved father's Name is Abdullah. That means '' The Salver of Allah.''.
So means the people before our prophet Muhammed (PBUH) had believed in ALLAH !. Our prophet ' grand father Abdul Muthalib had gave the name to his son as Abdullah ! Afetr only the Prophet Muhammed born , but he told them that pray only to Allah. That was not tolerable or digestible for them. They believe in Allah but they call LLota, Manata etc..

What was the main difference between the Mushriqu and Muslim ? OR clearly, why mushriq / quraishy people were against Prophet Muhammed ( PBUH) ? '' Quraishy people believed in Allah but along with they call Loota, Manatha and other statues. Prophet (PBUH) told them call only to Allah, he is the protector, creator, saver, alone to worship and ask '' It was not digestible or tolerable for the Mushriq. They were become against the Prophet (pbuh). This is the difference of Muslim & Mushriq.
