  • Oh and Sky are making a new "dedicated" F1 channel called Sky Sports F1 and do you know why they are doing that? So people who like F1 will buy the Sports package AND so Virgin Media can't get the channel or at the VERY least make Virgin Media pay to get the channel.

F1 does NOT need a full 24/7 channel dedicated to it, the races are every 2 fucking weeks for fuck sake. 95% of it will be made up by repeats and bullshit.

I for one am appalled and disgusted they bypassed the Concorde Agreement.

  • I'm SO fucking pissed off that Sky have got F1 now, i think it's an absolute disgrace and Bernie "The Evil Dwarf" Ecclestone totally bypassed and took the utter PISS out the "Concorde Agreement".

He claimed that the BBC had a contract till 2014 so the ball was in their court but it wasn't because the BBC obviously could not fulfil the contract which rendered it null and void. The ball was FIRMLY in the Evil Dwarfs court.

Total cunt with a Napoleon complex.

Sold out and destroyed Free to Air!

  • i expected to watch an f1 car being built part by part untill complete but this was just a big pile of shit!

  • Its weird that Toro Rosso won B4 Red Bull.

  • "We win and we loose together"

  • Heaven!

  • make the track rubber and the wheels metal

  • i seen this same thing at ibad.info

  • good morning my lovelies it's time to get up :D can i get one of those to pass a smog check in california i want to make it streetable XD

  • Sebastian also have intercourse with this car.

  • Where is the throttle in F1 cars and also the brake?

  • @schecterguitarsfan Two big pedals like in a go kart. Clutch is a finger leaver behind the steering wheel.

  • i thought porn wasnt aloud on youtube:)

  • like thisss

  • 09,10 and 11 the rb was illigal

  • @Insanaty Passed tests, therefore legal.

  • Yeah all that technology and still using rubber tires!

  • @smokings6x what do you propose they use you idiot ? no better substance exists.

  • @chimpcosmic LOL whos the idiot that can't get a joke now

  • @smokings6x No offense, i don't get the joke either.

  • what a car domination time

  • nice Vid, thanks for uploading!

  • 29 NASCAR Engineers Are Broke And Do Not Know How To Design A Car That Actually Turns To The Left And To The Right.

  • its wonderful

  • Redbull only gives wings to Sebastian

  • @dyog0315 *slams glass back on the table

  • @Foxx1981 "I think the team is happy with the result today", -angry face-

  • @dyog0315 I think Red Bull only gives wings to anyone with a name which is a variation of Sebastian.

    *Points to Sebastien Loeb*

  • @dyog0315 you are wrong... Watch this: youtube.com/watch?v=2kNZzqqdhM0

  • Yeah , Hell Yeah u r the best team in the world , with all the money spent on Development and Aerodynamics you will win the Championship and we all with u

  • Its amusing that Red Bull were not so exact when it came to designing and building their KERS system. An article written at the start of the season predicted the problems some teams would have. (suite101.com/content/formula-one-is-kers-a-blessing)

  • I can't believe people argue about F1 and Nascar. Both are incredible motorsporting and require the highest degree of driving skill and knowledge. In Nascar you must be an absolute expert in Physics and the aerodynamics surrounding slipstreams/drafting. because all the cars are constantly moving at high speeds and extremely close together, the slightest move can cost you the race if not your life.

we should all appreciate automotive engineering and skill in it's entirety!

  • lol imagine that on a rolling road.

  • In NASCAR all you do it go round and round for like 300 times , was the fun in that?

  • @TheLynxPk As simple as you make it sound. You have to focus on advanced things such as speed control. Nascars can go 200MPH all day long but their tires will melt - exactly why they maintain those speeds you see on TV. Average human's brain can concentrate for 45 minutes straight. Nascar races lasts much longer than that. Not only your concentration diminishes, your will to compete does as well.

Everything you experience in Nascar is same in Formula 1. F1 racers becomes Nascar racers. Silly.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX

But a NASCAR driver can not become an F1 driver.

  • @TheLynxPk Nonsense. They already are.

  • @TheLynxPk Most nascar drivers, at least all of the good ones are already F1 drivers. Reading is fundamental.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX

I said NASCAR drivers cant become F1 Drivers

  • @TheLynxPk They already are. Guess you don't know the good ones still competes in F1 every once a while. LOL

  • @QuicksilverdotFX

But they all came from F1, what TheLynx ment is that nascar drivers dont go from nascar to F1.

  • @Regret696 Some have, and some will. That is what I mean. Nascar's difficulty is actually higher than F1. You have to pay attention to heat on the tires or you lose grip. In F1, you just go all out and it won't melt. The advantages of open wheel racing is what makes newbies look pro.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX bahahahahahahaha, your right, F1 tires never wear down, they just stay and 80 degrees for the whole race, hence no pit stops.

  • @udamamma321 They do have pit stops but just takes a long time. Not due to heat but due to asphalt tearing up tires.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX hahah there is a lot more to F1 than just driving around a curcuit....

  • @SweetProductionsEnt I know this. I'm a very experienced track driver.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX fair enough, and sometime over heating tires are a problem in f1

  • @SweetProductionsEnt Yes, this is true. It is not uncommon but also not common. If you know what I mean. I was just doing a comparison to Nascar where overheating tires is so easy.

  • There isn't one word of that dialogue that told me anything of the car or how it is made. Just a bunch of film clips and special effects trivializing the car and the sport. There must be good writers out there who are also car enthusiasts, where are they?

  • someone needs to identify the music. I'll buy the song for $1K if I have to

  • @OTKSenior

The music was especially composed for this animation and I don't think $1K is a big enough quote if you want to buy it.

  • S.Vettel 2010 world champion

  • Formula 1 is God among cars. Its formula 1 which sets the pace, Others just follow!!!

  • Aged Justin Beiber = Sebastian Vettel

  • God mio ..... to see these things they make me cry of the emotion

  • I think i hear clarkson saying; building an f1 car...... How hard can it bee

    ???

  • 1 NASCAR fan like this video

  • f1 cars are fantastic the aerodynamics are smooth

  • did red bull do energy drinks or racing first?

  • @hypno159753 The drinks provided the profits to explore motorsports

  • haha i love it when people talk about things they know nothing of

  • @13cal13 It is so epic to watch and see the stupidity :P

  • @itisYOUREnotYOUR Are you effing serious about how little you know about anything in that post? Oh my god.

Firstly, F1 cars are NOT turbocharged, back in the 80's and early 90's they were, not now!.

Two, no they dont drive themselves and traction control does not do that, do you even know what it is?

Three, no. F1 cars are known to be one of the hardest road machines to control Ever. Watch the top gear episode where Hammond tried to drive the Renault V10 F1. You need a lot of mental skill+balls.

  • @itisYOUREnotYOUR wtf r u talking about 0-160 km/h in 6 seconds flat it takes serious skill to control an f1 car when ur constantly being subjected to forces upwards of 5g...and even though there are lots of automated features in the car trying to contain all the power the power is so immense that even they fail at times (i.e. you can still spin in a corner)

  • @itisYOUREnotYOUR you are joking yeh?

  • My girlfriend doesn't even soud agressive like that !

  • Oh come on! I love Formula 1 but NASCAR isn't boring! NASCAR is better racing; more overtaking, more races, the average speeds are higher and the cars are much closer in spec. If you think going into a corner at 180 mph four wide doesn't take skill you're nuts. F1 pilots usually cannot negotiate the first corner in a race without leaving carbon fibre on track. Run a F1 sled flat out for ten mins and its engine is history. NASCAR engines run at the limit for the races duration. NASCAR is REAL!

  • because a F1 engine is buioild to last about 1200, that's it!

a few years ago, F1 engine where built to last 350km, exactly 1 race, qualify and practive not included.

about 250 million each season on engine 2 ferrari during schumachers time and slightly beyond.

i watched Brickyard 2010, nascar is slower than f1, the brickyard is a huge thing about speeds dind't exceed 180mp/h.

F1 does 0-200km/h and back to zero in litle over 5 seconds.

  • @naturalyshocked Outside of McLaren, Redbull and Ferrari, how many other F1 teams actually won a race? Indeed, Renault got a second place, Mercedes squeezed into third at Malaysia and China, Kubica (Renault) got third at Monaco... but essentially its been a parade of the top three. The best overtaker - the guy with the most skill did not win the championship because he was in an inferior car. Better tech is in F1, yes, but NASCAR makes real parts work, and racing a lot more interesting.

  • nascar is suck

  • @BoogWar01 How is NASCAR more interesting than F1? Thats like saying that watching grass grow is more interesting than watching 2 lesbians having fun.

F1 is the queen of all motorsports, and more elite sport of all sports in the entire world. I'd not even call it a sport. Its a showcase of cutting edge technology. Every single manufacturer in F1 (even those who have completely terrible cars, and never finish a race) are much more advanced than any NASCAR manufacturer.

  • @naturalyshocked Behemoth stock cars used to circle Talladega at 220 per. IN THE SEVENTIES. Now they wouldn't stop worth a damn, because they wouldn't need to. Ever seen ANY car running at that speed for a mile at a time? I know that F1 cars were built to cross the finish line and then fall apart. I understand the left and right thing. But don't underestimate NASCAR drivers. Montoya has only won two NASCAR events so far in his entire career and he hasn't won ANY on a superspeedway.

  • vettel won in a inferior car(toro rosso) in monza 2008, te be one example.

kubica got a podium in monaco this year

    : )

  • @BoogWar01 "I know that F1 cars were built to cross the finish line and then fall apart. I understand the left and right thing. " No you dont. You obviously dont know. The "left and right thing" is the thing thats the hardest to do, its where you need driving skill. Everyone today and even 30 years ago could build a car that will be fast on a straight line. But building a car that will be fast on straight, have brutal acceleration, braking and cornering ability is a different story.

  • @derbigpr500 Driving skill? Juan Pablo Montoya's average finish in the Sprint series is 17th. In four seasons, he has managed two wins, and has yet to master ANY superspeedway. So its not as easy it seems. Stock cars are 2000 lb heavier and are harder to control...yet the drivers find multiple racing lines (three and four abreast) around corners at 180mph. Often F1 drivers can't make it through the first turn at the tracks they run at.

  • @BoogWar01 I wouldnt call those corners. NASCAR circuits dont have corners, and finding different lines on such big distances is easier than having to react quickly during short corners. NASCAR drivers need 10 times less driving skill than F1 drivers. Thats just a fact. Anyone who's gonna spent a millisecond arguing about that doesnt know what he's talking about. "Often F1 drivers can't make it through the first turn at the tracks they run at." In which universe does that happen?

  • @derbigpr500 Do you really watch F1? Most deaths in F1 happen in the first corner after the straight when the cars (24 of them at most ) are fighting for the same racing line. The same scenario in NASCAR races has 40 odd cars, each within 500ths of a second off of the pole setting time, settling down for the first turn and MAKING it. Cars running at a buck eighty inches apart takes more skill than the fifty foot buffer zone everybody seems to want in F1.

  • @BoogWar01 Dude. No offense, but you sound like you have no idea what you're talking about. NO IDEA at all. Deaths in F1? In first corner? Thats the most ridiculous thing ever because nobody ever died in F1 in first corner. And the last death was almost 20 years ago. NASCAR takes more skill?! LOOOOOOOOOL. They drive in a fucking straight line. Even the track is inclined so they dont even have to turn the wheel . They only ever turn the wheel a couple of degrees. Sorry, end of discussion.

  • @derbigpr500 @derbigpr500 Mistake...I meant to say 'accidents', not deaths. Ronnie Petersen died due to injuries sustained after crashing at Monza in '78, ON THE FIRST LAP. Ayrton Senna died at Imola in '94, 16 years ago. 16 does not equal 20 in my book. Most recently Michael Schumacher made it through a couple corners after the first bend at Abu Dhabi, but spun out and was nearly decapitated (you do know what that means, don't you?)

  • @BoogWar01 I dont want to argue with someone who has no idea what he's talking about. Saying that NASCAR takes 5 times less skill than F1 is an inslult to F1. Saying that it takes more skill than F1 is worth being executed on the national tv at prime time.

  • @BoogWar01 "Cars running at a buck eighty inches apart takes more skill than the fifty foot buffer zone everybody seems to want in F1. " LOL yea, 80 inches apart on a straight line. Try 10 inches apart in the corners when there are 5 people around you, 2 people in front of you. And all that while driving trough a tight corner at 150 mph, generating 5G of force (which is 3 times more than they feel in nascar), and you can lose grip or get hit at any moment.

  • @derbigpr500 F1 is like driving by yourself with no traffic on a back country road, and NASCAR is like down a busy freeway with cars around you all the time. The tracks NASCAR uses are alot simpler than those used in F1, however there is an imense amount of skill used on both. NASCAR drivers constantly focus on the cars around them, something F1 drivers have to do about once or twice a race. On the other hand, F1 drivers have to focus on all the complex corners, something NASCAR drivers don't.

  • @TheRollingLedBeatles you are the biggest noob i've ever seen...

  • @derbigpr500 "A buck eighty" means 180 mph. Inches aoart means just that.

  • @derbigpr500 Sorry man, but you are a total demagog. You simply can't compare NASCAR and F1, these cars are utterly and completely DIFFERENT. In fact the only thing they have in common is that they are cars. That's probably all. With your logic you can bash every racing series in the world just because it is not so advanced or fast as F1.

  • @BoogWar01 One more think. F1 cars fall apart after the race? Sorry, but F1 engines rev to 19000-20000 rpm. Nascar revs to what, 9000? And they're constantly just sitting at same speed. It has a primitive gearbox, and they never change gear once they're driving. F1 has the fastest gearbox possible to build today, and it shifts gears constantcly. Its constatnly accelerates, brakes, accelerates again etc. That puts much more strain on the mechanical parts than just "cruising" in a straight line.

  • @derbigpr500 No one is arguing that F1 tech rules. A SPRINT CUP car on average costs between $150,000 - $200K to build. An F1 Sled, without a prayer of getting a single manufacturers point, costs twenty times as much - without an engine. The spectacle of RAW speed and the amount of overtaking that goes on during a race makes for a better spectacle and therefore is not BORING to the average joe. Its TV is better and at least in America there's more indepth coverage on the event and after.

  • @BoogWar01 LOL... America... I wish we had the guts to have F1 over here. NASCAR is sooooo boring F1 is actually fun to watch.

  • @f34123 They are building an F1 Grand prix track in Austin :)

  • @derbigpr500 NASCAR engines are loosely based on production engines. Meaning that their physical dimensions must match an engine from the Big Three. they make about 750 - 800 hp from 5.8 litres at 9000 rpm. Valves are PUSHROD operated, as the rules stipulate this. Yet they make this power from a lower rev range which is on par with your screaming F1 engine. I've seen experimental Sprint cup heads with more than 20:1 static CR survive at 9000 rpm (on race fuel). I've never seen F1 heads do that.

  • @naturalyshocked And FYI, that 220 mph (done before the age of restrictor plate racing) is an average over an ENTIRE LAP. Fastest speed in a straight line was 238 mph, which I've never heard of even turbo F1 cars approaching. Kinda puts things in perspective, especially since they were doing this with tech that was basically available to the everyday man, THIRTY or so years ago.

  • F1 did +-230, but than they prohibid v10.

nascar is a dying sport, it doesn't attrack people anymore.

    there is zero technology, boh:

i would prefer australian v8 supercar everday over nascar

the porsche 917 did over 250m/h in the 70ties.

  • @BoogWar01 Dude. Who cares about straight line speed? Every retard can drive on a straight line. I'd like to see Nascar cars pull 5G in corners or when braking....

  • in the v10 era, Alonso in his ferrari did over 370km/h on Monza, 2010 was about 330km/h top speed on Monza.

    but rules change always.

i think the intercom system is the most modern technology on a nascar, that's a fucking SHAME.

no improvements have been made sind the early 70ties, accept some thigher CNC machining and the HANS safety harnas.

    but that's it.

    : (

  • He said something about an "Aero Package." Does that mean you can only choose a specific and pre-made body/chassis design? I'm not too familiar with the in-depth part of F1 (though I'd like to start to be).

  • My friend talks about nascar all the time! I can tell u people it is soo damn boring!!!

  • Vettel that snot nose brat .... and quit fucking talking shit about nascar until you have driven 200 mph around a 45 degree angled corners for 6 hours straight dont run your mouth

  • lol, nascar sucks so much.

i watched 2 entire races recently on tube.

on the Bristol raceway, it's a continous stream of cars, how amusing is that?

besides the there only like 50% audience.

beside, in case you dind't know, Vettel is a student of Schumacher, he spend since age of 4 racing carts, he spend every holday camping on schumchar dad's track.

i bet 100US$, vettel will beat any american in a touring car (DTM).

  • Ladies and Gentleman

The World Champion of 2010 is speaking!!!

  • funny thing is he won this year!

  • One nascar supporter made 25 accounts to show his hatred to F1

  • 3:03: "She will never let me down". Say it now after Korea GP, buddy. lol

  • @NearTheLimits They might consider switching engine provider next year.

  • @answer223 yeah...they should. You should never save costs on F1. It could cost you a Championship.

  • @NearTheLimits that was because a broken cylinder, moron!

  • @sajtosfene Oh, so what's the difference between what I AM TRYING to say and what YOU ARE TRYING to say, DICKHEADED ASSHOLE !

  • @NearTheLimits sorry, but i think you didn't want to write that for me..:D

  • @sajtosfene I dont get it

  • @NearTheLimits I wasn't aware that the RB5 ever raced at Korea

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @NearTheLimits Are you retarded? Thats the RB6 like I saw at the Canadian GP last year.

  • Comment removed

  • @NearTheLimits Aww its so cute to see that even people with trisomy 23 can use the internet.

  • @mmaluchnik Who told u could come in here and insult me for nothing? Maan, you're sick, get al life.

  • @NearTheLimits It makes you seem quite guilty when you delete your comments and then say some crap like that when you started it first. :)

  • @NearTheLimits trolled by his own car LOL

  • @gateontheroom wat did he even say?

  • Redbull Helped make the X1 Project Prototype

  • when ya think of F1 innovation comes in mind

  • Incredible and USF1 thought they had a chance getting to the grid this year.

  • Love these slick RBR videos. They spend more money on these than HRT have to run a full season lol

  • now F1 its so boring *_* its destroyed by rules... 1950-1980s was so cool. all cars was different, who had the best pilot and best engine = win. Unfortunatly Gilles was the best but never win a WFC

  • it's boring 4 you, because ferrari doesn't paint very well in the last few years.

but i love seeing vettel's hotlaps.

Schumacher is old, he helped ferrari bac on track, because before schumacher ferrari wasn't good either(i watched f1 pretty much my enterie life, untill shcumacher won pretty much every race), schumacher was kart mechanic.

  • now the FIA puts more data on screen, which is cool, it makes a thrilling seeing how how pilots push the limits or either drive calm and save the car.

  • @naturalyshocked Yes but i won't Drivers drive calm. i want like Gilles "FULL RISK"

  • Please, tell me the name of the song or melody..... Thanks

  • Impressive Production!

  • i hate when formula 1 cars crash, it's horrible seeing all that science exploding

  • jesus christ how many overused stock 'tech' sounds can you use in one intro

  • im a F1 fan.. but when i had a chance to sit down and watch nascar.. I dont think its so stupid.. and montoya showed everyone that beeing top F1 driver dont make u top nascar driver.. he couldnt drive that car the first year at all..

but be my guest.. there is only f1 about every 14 day... nascar just adds more motorsport in-between..

  • @Bagjo123 - your right that being a top F1 driver wont make you a good NASCAR driver. BUT Montoya sucked at F1 too lol.

  • @TokerSmurf He didn't suck. He drove too aggressively and made stupid mistakes because of it, but he was fast when he was on. A lot different than a lot of the lower drivers.

  • @ajlepisto - ok perhaps saying he sucked was a little biased on my part, I just didn't like the cocky arrogant little prick and was glad to see the back of him.

  • but nigel mansel rocked on ovals

  • @naturalyshocked Not on Phoenix, 1993...well, not until he opened a CD-size hole in the wall...

  • CD size hole?

  • @naturalyshocked Well, yeah, a hole the size of a CD...=P. Just search for "Nigel Mansell" "1993" "CART PPG" "Phoenix"...he went to the hospital after crashing in his first oval ever, during practice sessions. But he did good, in Milwaukee and Michigan. He could've done better at Indy, but hey: he won the '93 CART PPG championship, despite injuries and all...

  • Vettel is the best f1 driver ever!!!

  • @Schlappohr0 stop talkin out our arse, you know nothing if you think vettel is THE BEST EVER!!! TWAT

  • @Schlappohr0

He can't even drive.. managed to smash a sidepod and take a front wing off last weekend.

  • @Schlappohr0 buahahahaha

  • @Schlappohr0 No, Vettel is NOT. He still shows some significant immaturity. That doesn't mean he will never be able to be the best, but at this point, he still IS far behind the likes of Fangio, Schumacher, Piquet, and can't even be compared to Senna or Graham Hill.

  • but his stats are very good, i think if i would take some time to sort it, he has beaten Alonso.

but true he still needs to learn, i hope he doesn't turn into a somewhat arrongant guy, although hamilton has become calm this year.

  • F1 cars are so expensive, the drivers are scared to crash it... So that makes for very boring races

  • song song song song song name!!!!!!

  • Make this you stupid americans...you have got crap cars made with shit...europe has got art...

  • @PowerMirai85 that's about all Europe has....art...whippee! Oh yeah, old bldgs and bad teeth. Wow, what a wonderful place you must live in.

  • @fokkinmoron you have a perfect nickname dude...it says all

  • @PowerMirai85 Wow! I am truly impressed by your wit. How long did it take you to come up with that one?

  • @fokkinmoron not much really...luckly i have a life and i don't live on youtube, i see comments when i log in...but i'm really thinking i'm wasting my time with you, so keep living on youtube dude, maybe you'll become someone one day... cheers

  • @PowerMirai85 I agree you are indeed wasting your time with me. Afterall, your lame ripostes demonstrate a severe intellectual deficiency on your part.

Your idiocy notwithstanding , I don't mind engaging in battles of wits with unarmed opponents because I enjoy the slaughter. Thank you for the amusement. :)

  • @fokkinmoron no problem glad i made your virtual life a bit more funny

  • @PowerMirai85 that's right...art goes to museum, which, in Brazil, has another name, like 'Tilkodrome'...we find it more exciting going to, say, a "bee museum", or watching a documentary about ants, rather than seeing a car exhibition...

  • i wish my room was as clean as that garage

  • NASCAR is so primitive compared to Formula racing

  • @davidson055 bu that's the point right? most races have regulations, and that's one of them. (and before any trolls say anything no I'm not a huge fan of NASCAR but I love F1)

  • @davidson055 Its sopposed to be. Which stock car looks like that? Even though NASCAR cars look nothing like stock cars. But you get my point.

  • @davidson055 You'd go tears if you had to compare NASCAR to Brazilian Stock Cars; they're absolutely one another's opposite. NASCAR: top in popularity. BSC: who have ever heard of it? NASCAR: "troglodite" cars with more HP than F1 engines. BSC: beautiful stock cars w/ so-so HP, but who cares? I wanna watch real races, not any "cute car exhibition"!

  • @davidson055 IRONIC though, NASCAR coverage especially in relation to timing overlays on screen, timing etc, and what is shown on screen by the director, is light years ahead.

  • lol, if you wouldn't have timing overlay, you would have no idea, what is going on.

because it's a conveyer belt of cars.

    boring

  • @davidson055 NASCAR is primitive compared not only to Formula racing, it's also primitive compared to donkey racing, ostrich riding, caber tossing, gum chewing, nose picking, and canoe rowing.

  • @davidson055 Hey yank... there is no comparison!!! Nascar is just sh!t.. period.

    regards from the UK!!!

  • @chuchu2301 That may be true but I couldn't consider myself a true yank without recognizing NASCAR could I?

  • @davidson055 That is sooo damn true!

  • @davidson055 Yeah, but I find BOTH tedious. Technology does not mean fun, in fact rather opposite is true. Moreover, NASCAR is not a world championship, how many participants do you have in NASCAR and how many in F1? And technological advancement is relative. F1 also could be much more 'advanced' but it would cost MUCH MORE money.

  • F1 has better technology, Indycar has better racing. Unfortunate but true

  • Why don't F1 cars have a "Glass" windscreen and roof?

  • f1 racing is coming to austin tx in 2012

  • Nascar = Boring

  • @saithiis thats why all f1 does is drive behind each other 80% of the race

  • @mxmayhem so..what's your point?!
