  • University of Phoenix grads are fun to laugh at.

  • w0w cool

  • What a fucking retarded video. I bust my ass off at UOPX. Been doing so for over a year and a half. This video wreaks of elitist douche-baggery. Counter argument- cant increase font size on essay's(based on word count not page count), no lectures(must review books to their core), no study groups(you teach yourself). Only scumbags will believe this utter tripe.

  • As a filmmaker, a university of phoenix student, and a human being, I found this funny. However untrue the information is on this video about any aspect of the university in which the characters within speak of, or how amature the quality of both product and skill in which was obviously and blatantly apparent, it was amusing. It is a parody after all, folks.

    I smiled. Good job, guys.

  • This is bullshit. They just like any other college in America. They have problems like any other college. You will have to do research cause every degree isn't accepted in every state. Like a teaching degree, you can't teach in New York with their degree. That's it. You learn the same shit like sitting down in a classroom. It's up to you to determine what you learn.

  • @MrMcMillan912 "They just like any other college in America"... The grammar of a UofP student.

  • @ANeonTiger Good, let us all look for any typo's you make shall we? "..." oops you already broke academic rules of grammar- 10 points deducted from your total grade. Idiot, this is Youtube, GTFO.

  • Toooooo thiiissssss!

  • phoenix SUCKS DONT GO THERE !! ITS ALL A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY!! THEY DONT TEACH YOU SHIT AND THEY PURPOSELY WAIT FOR A YEAR TO TEACH YOU SOME OF WHAT YO U ORIGINALY WENT THERE TO LEARN. I LEARNED MORE ABOUT PROGRAMMING FROM WATCHING YOUTUBE VIDEOS THAN FROM PHOENIX!!!

  • @talleyho12 I feel horrible for everyone who is suckered in by the University of Free Dicks. What a scam.

  • hey, philosophyofvictory its a damn scam! you r an idiot!

  • @mogiep47

This, coming from the person with terrible grammar and spelling. Perhaps you could benefit from taking some courses at UOPX... Anyway, the DOE would not grant regional accreditation to a "scam." Do your homework and think for yourself for once.

  • The progressive chain of ignorance displayed here is appalling... in response to JoeDaPlumber, University of Phoenix actually DOES hold regional accreditation. This means that they have passed those same rigorous standards that the state campus universities do. That being said, please do your research before you futher spread your lack of intelligence to others.

  • This is an excellent representation of what for-profits like U of P does. Anyone who is considering attending a private for-profit "college" should first watch the PBS Frontline documentary "College Inc", or check out the reputation of any for-profit "college" on the website "Rip Off Report" (both resources can be easily found on Google). If that doesn't make you think twice, then by all means throw your money at these diploma mills and take your chances.

  • Join aceyourcollegeclassesdotcom

  • This representation is completely inaccurate. While I probably would opt for a traditional bachelor or masters program, the associates program at Uop is thorough and quite demanding. If you think it's a cakewalk, than you obviously have no idea of what you're talking about. All colleges have their own flaws. Most classes at Uop require 600 word min daily participation + assignments.

  • 42 people flunked out of UoP

  • I want my 3:41 back please.

  • UofP is overpriced and overadvertized, but your video is just plain ignorant.

If you want to spoof diploma mills, go right ahead. If you want to spoof legitimate colleges which hold full accreditation that is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Counsel for Higher Education of America, then you are only making a fool of yourself.

Also, if you intend to mock "online" colleges, how about you pick a college that doesn't have over 200 physical campuses? Whoops!

  • @ManiacCraniac it may be accredited on the national level but regional is something they will never have. Why? Because national is very lax while regional is competitive.

    Overpriced Yes

    Overadvertized Yes

    Substandard YES

  • Hilarious stuff! There were a few instances where the narrator did not say "Phoenix Online," but great stuff nonetheless.

  • lol! what the fuck is wrong u

  • the screen never changed while you called yourself applying to UoP. Seriously, is this really what your traditional college program taught you? By the way, grow up, cause it seems as if you guys are very uneducated.

  • LOL. What a joke of a "University".

  • haha...I go to UOP... I graduate in a few months. This is hilarious...

  • Wow, feel better now? Congrats, you just made a video and posted it on youtube...must mean you are right about UOP!...Have you actually attended any online courses, or did you just flip through the channels to find the first university commercial? Go ahead, give me as many thumbs down as you want, but I will forever be grateful at the education I gained through the UOP program...btw, what college did you go to? judging by your video making capabilities, it must've been IV league. I AM A PHOENIX

  • The first year I went to UOP, I was regretting it until I took an Internship with a well-known Health care Company. I was in shock to know that I was applying everything I learned at UOP! My public speaking skills and teamwork abilities payed off. My knowledge in Health care was so good that I could hold long conversations with Medical Directors.

I did not do on-line courses until my last semester. I thought the classes were going to be easier. OH BOY was I soooo wrong! Its a lot of work!

  • By the way, I had several professors at this university that just finished with their PhD, but it is a requirement for having AACSB accreditation. I was more impress with the UOP instructors who have actual industry knowledge. They'll run around these PhDs who cannot answer anything about the real world application.

  • By the way, UOP started the hybrid format (classroom/on-line), which is now being copied by other universities.

I'm almost finish with my MBA at a major university. Some people say that UOP does not give exams. Well, the exam I took for several classes for MBA is writing an essay. At UOP, we had to write at least 2 essays per week.

  • I feel dumber after attending the MBA program at another university that has better reputation and name than UOP. I want my freaking money back. I wish I had attended UOP instead.

  • @YoSoydePinas You're a UoP employee?

  • No, I'm not a UOP employee. Someday, I would like to teach at UOP.

  • @YoSoydePinas

    What university?

  • It's really funny how people are still putting down UOP after all these years because of the on-line programs. Well let's see, Stanford, Berkeley, USC, UCLA, Villanova, and numerous other universities now have on-line programs. I guess those are also worthless.

  • There is a principal in our town who got her graduate degree from UoP. She's a total psycho, so it's hard to determine the quality of education she got. She was bragging to me that she could be a professor at her alma mater now...like that means something. I drew a dog I saw on the back of a matchbook once, sent it to a school...and now I'm Pablo Picasso!!!!!

  • @Smokefyre

They're idiots and power trippers. A real postgrad degree actually takes a little bit of effort, even for intellignet and dedicated people. I have yet to come across a UOP grad who knows the difference between "your" and "you're". All a UOP degree says is "I was scammed". Better off with just a GED.

  • @Cakerolled That is a fallacy I am not sure why you have a problem with there school. You get what you put in to it just like any school. Grammar and spelling do not always quantify intelligence and is a baseless attack. I am sure that without Google you could not explain to me psychoanalysis in a meaningful way, but that does not mean you got a improper education. I have my B.A in psychology from the University of Phoenix and it helped me get in to a Psy.D program for clinical psychology.

  • @TheNightwing01 Why didn't you go to a real school? I mean UoP is a little substandard. Don't you feel a little ashamed to have your name associated with such an institution?

  • @JoeDaPlumber I had two kids when I started under the age of 3 so it was easier to do it online then go to a brick and mortar school. I am now going to the University of Colorado and will be licensed in a few years as a psychologist. Do I feel ashamed having gone to the UOP no it is nationally accredited it is no different than getting your undergrad from a community college.

  • @TheNightwing01 see thats the thing that UoP uses to offset the fact that national accreditation is not the same as regional which is what brick and mortar schools have. UoP is pushing for regional accreditation but due to its rigorous standards they can't seem to get. While you may be able to transfer UoP credits I don't know if you can actually compete with ones who went to Berkeley or Stanford it just seems UoP is the easy way out.

  • @JoeDaPlumber People that go to a community college could not compete with Berkeley, or Standford those are top tier schools. Hell University of Denver could not compete with them. I got what I needed out of the school I am in a brick and mortar school now whats the difference.

  • @TheNightwing01 I went to CC and got accepted to Cal (Berkeley) but opted for UCLA. CC was not a walk in the park though. UoP I suspect it is due to group projects and online stuff

  • @Smokefyre yeaaa, well how many crazy ass people graduate from state schools?

  • Want a degree?Don't want debt that comes with it? Don't want to sit in class for a few months? Well, try eBay!!! they have a grand sale on degrees you can buy at a fraction of the cost. They can provide you one from the college of your choice and they'll all be worthless just like a UoP one.

  • LOL, there you go again.

  • "Do you have a printer to print out the degree?" HAHAHAHAHA!!

  • Funny , and I thought Axia College was for drag queens

  • University of Phoenix = diploma mill

Same thing with ITT Tech, Devry, Walden University, etc.

  • and BINGO was his name-O!!!!!!

  • You think these people could just go to a real school for the amount of cash they shell out to UOP for a rip-off degree.

  • I go to school by day, work nights and am able to still take care of my family, and I go to a real school!! Stop making excuses and go to one. If you can't make the time to go to a real school, what makes you think you'll find the time to get a better job when you do receive that "mickey mouse" degree? U o P are predators who's marketing is directed exactly to those who make excuses. BTW, if you're thinking it's cheaper, IT'S NOT!!!

  • I completely agree. UOP is far more interested in "selling classes" than quality education; hence, lack of admissions standards. Even if it takes a few more years, one is almost always better off studying to get in to a respected university, or less expensive state college. The biggest problem with UOP is that UOP charges a fortune for mediocre education. UOP works well for someone who already has an established career and just needs any degree for a promotion.

  • People display more discipline and intelligence from UOP so that weakens your credibility that UOP is a "mickey mouse degree." In fact, people have gotten great jobs from graduating from online school. Employers look for skill and experience. Where you get a college degree is irrelevant to the employer.

  • What a joke. More intelligence and discipline? Where, at Disneyland? If you're at home taking courses from here, you already don't have the discipline to begin with so that weakens your argument, period. I've done my research and many human resource divisions have admitted to "placing UoP recipients" at the bottom of the applicant pile. If Lil' Wayne can be a UofP graduate, anybody who can operate a computer can. That is what makes it a "mickey mouse" degree.

  • I can weaken your argument saying that not all HR divisions put UoP grads in the bottom. There are worse schools than UoP. No matter what school you attend, it takes discipline to get through college. By the way, don't tell me that I "lack discipline to begin with." I served in combat while you were probably at Disneyland dry humping Mickey's leg, so don't sit here and be a Lil Wayne wannabe smart ass putting other people down on this forum. You are a joke.

  • Yeah? what companies are those, McDonalds? Rite Aid? Home Depot? Provide examples if you plan on continuing this debate. And sorry, it does NOT take discipline to go crawling to your pc in your pj's to "attend class." And you need to learn how to read more comprehensively. When I said "you already don't have the discipline" it was meant toward those who attend UoP, not you literally unless...oops, did I just blow up your spot? That sir, makes YOU the joke.

  • Why are you getting so excited over this? Bottom line, I got degree that even helped me to get a good paying job unrelated to the field I studied. It proves that your over emotional comments mean very little. It is just your opinion. I frankly don't agree with it. I don't know what your problem is. Just chill out and quit insulting everyone that disagrees with you.

  • go fuck yourself

  • @DDTdrummer

It doesn't take discipline to get an online degree.

  • @Fratty124 A 24 pack of beer would do the trick to get the online degree. It works.

  • LOL what the hell are you talking about people not being able to "find the time" for a better job if they don't go to a real school?! If a person is going to online school because they work so much, then a better job would be one with stable hours. If they are no longer in school, then they'll have even more time for work. When you are done with school, won't your daytime hours be free??? Moron. You have nothing to brag about.

  • I'm a moron? It's quite obvious that you missed my point, you idiot. If you can't roll your lazy ass out of bed even after working late hours to attend class, what makes you think you're gonna do it to look for a better job after you print it out? When I'm done with school, yes, my daytime hours will be free to look for a better job since I'm already out and about not sitting behind a computer screen. So fuck off, and go to bed, your shift at Burger King starts soon.

  • Be careful because life may not hand you greatness the way you think its going to. But when you too find yourself unemployed, some UOP graduate will be somewhere with a job. People do the best they can in their circumstances, but sometimes on campus doesn't work for their schedule and life. Whats the point in belittling others and making your situation seem better. Sincerely, someone with a Bachelors and Masters from on campus accredited great universities.

  • Lil Wayne just received a Bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Phoenix. Look up his interview on The View from a few months back. If a multi-millionaire like him can do it, I guess we can too.

  • Proprietary schools are for people who can't hang with the real colleges and universities.

  • Who does a video as ignorant as this? Some idiot that lives shit-hole like yolu do and has NOTHING better to do, cause believe me if you were a UOP student and employeed you would not have time to make something as ridiculous as this! You should be ashamed of yourself!

People dont believe these "KIDS" UOP is for dedicated ADULTS that want to suceed in life.......

  • LOL! Bloody hell, that just about explains it all. 1. Answer discussion questions and Write papers 2. No exams to test your knowledge. 3. You're left with huge debt and nothing to show for it. I swear if I put my dog on my keyboard and let it prance around for awhile, as long as I reached my word count, I would get a passing grade on my papers. I regret going to this school. Beware everyone. Go to a state college where it will cost a hell of a lot less and you'll actually learn something.

  • A lot of people who defend this "college" are obvious present victims or graduates who were lucky enough to get a decent job out of it. They all have one thing in common: how much in debt they all are in now, and that their school is being investigated.

  • Not having any regrets in life but one, not getting a college degree! When you are a parent, you can not turn back time and do things all over again. You have to make thing the best you can. UOP helps you make thing better. Because in life, there is no turning back! You have to make the best of every moment. UOP is what you make it, like everything else in life.

  • Think about the parents that are working full-time jobs, raising one, two, or three plus kids and attending a school like University of Phoenix. A lot of these people have already been in the work place and realize that by not attending college before creating a family has really been the biggest mistake of their lives. Imagine having wonderful kids, loving and supporting spouse, and working low paying jobs, busing your ass trying to keep it all together!

  • All I am saying is that one must earn significantly more than he or she spent for college to be an investment. The inflation rate for college tuition is ridiculously high. In fact, Fortune magazine stated that college costs have gone up percentage wise more than any other common expense. In economics their is something taught called Maximization of Utility; hence, getting the most value in comparison to costs. If a college provides a value beyond the expense, then it can be termed an investment.

  • "Utility Maximization" (that's what it's called), deals with getting as much for a dollar as possible. it does not deal with profit. you used "their"(there, their, they're) incorrectly...odd for a College Professor, but I guess it is possible, or proves my earlier pts. Why are you telling me about tuition vs. inflation? i mentioned it 3 posts ago. Lastly, tuition could be an investment if it simply gives one a job making more than one WOULD have made w/o a degree. Opportunity cost is relevant.

  • It seems you are just tryign to one ups me. You are nit-picking on little errors to boast your argument. If everyone can not succeed in capitalism, then why do idiots become millionaires? Why do people from other countries come the US for business opportunities? I never said people with business degrees buy companies. I stated that a person with good business sense (not taught in school) will use their education to buy a company or create a business of their own.

  • I can see you are clearly educated which makes this more challenging and fun. The reason I argue with you on the cost of tuition is being that I spent a fortune on my Ph.D. Sure, I make over 100k per year; however, the loan payments are almost a mortgage. This is why I would urge any student to try and avoid loans, and use grants, scholarships, etc. Building wealth is not about how much one makes. It is about how smart one uses their income. This is why college is not always an investment.

  • Also, to boast my argument on Capitalism; using Binary Logic and Reasoning, any view, or argument will always have two sides. In some cases, the view can be neutral. Also, called critical thinking. You are giving me a definition of Capitalism from a neutral perspective, leaning more towards the "con" side. You are using the negative facts about Capitalism to attack my statement. My definition to Utility Maximization is the same as yours. Mine has nothing to do with profit.

  • Last, I am not from the U.S. and English is not my native language. Try traveling to a foreign country, learning a new language, studying at a high level in that language, and then having to teach in a language you have not spoken most of your life. If you can do this, I respect you. It is not easy.

  • explosion was genius, then you ruined it by going back and showing bomb guys....duh. you must've graduated from FEANICKS ONLINE!

  • well i got a gi bill, but from reading all these comments i dont think i wanna waste my time with this school....is Devry a better choice?

  • Avoid University of Phoenix, Devry or most of these "for profit" schools. These days fake schools are big business and pop up everywhere. With the bad economy, many people are headed back to school. In reality, their is no short cut. You will get much more benefit and save money by attending a state college or university. If these for-profit schools were so great, they would not pressure you to go to them. Apply to any state school and see if they pressure you. You will have to work to enter.

  • lol. "normal Universities" are much better? there is a distinct lack of basic education among people with degrees...even advanced degrees. lack of reading comprehension, poor math skills, lack of philosophy/logic education. it is truly stunning.SAT as an admission tool? it is meaningless. scores "rise" even as people have weaker skills.School takes this nonsense and your money ($rise much faster than inflation, ie profit) and if "smart" enough to keep your mouth shut, viola, degree!

  • Are you saying UOP teaches these skills? LOL. Anyways, to add to that: Our country is designed so that anyone can succeed; hence, the purpose of capitalism in the first place. At least, in business, a degree does not teach one entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, common sense, how to use the tax system, and the list goes on. A degree is usually a liability, unless paid for without debt, that many middle class people mistake as an asset. I agree with you about colleges being a ripoff.

  • Yikes...your response leads me to believe you are a UOP grad. "the purpose of capitalism is...that anyone can succeed". not only does the sentence not make sense, it is false. the only purpose to capitalism is to make as much profit as the market will bear. that's all. A degree is not a liability, but a PREREQUISITE TO BEING HIRED FOR ANY PROFESSIONAL POSITION. The pt of my post was simply to say that one could have more rigorous standards for UOP, and it would still have serious problems.

  • Actually, this depends on how you look at Capitalism. FYI, I am a professor of Economics, and I have Ph.D. from UCLA. An average person will go to school, earn decent grades, and then work for a good company to work for. A person with business skills (not taught in college) will go to college, earn decent grades so he or she can buy a great company. Middle class Americans are taught to be good employees in business school. College does not teach people how to use the Capitalist system.

  • I made a typo, no need to comment on that.

  • i only comment on "typos" to people boasting of their intellectual superiority in which it is clearly NOT a typo, but incorrect spelling or useage.

  • As Professor of Economics, you should know the def of captialism and not have to hem and haw. Capitalism is CLEARLY not "anyone can succeed".The avg person gets whatever job they can, and it is not necessarily good. they are most likely to stay in that job unless they can get something better w/o moving. Most people w/business degrees do not "buy companies" or start their own. Further, many are grossly underemployed as there is a glut of people w/degrees.School is supposed to teach how to think.

  • To further this critique, the school does a great job of teaching students grammar, and power point. If you attend one of the top 50 schools, you will see why they are highly regarded. The education is far more intricate; thus, the courses have far more detail. Sure, if you read the UOP materials, much is the same. But, you learn little in the realm of negotiating, communicating, mathematics, and networking. UOP has a huge alumni but the networking is very disorganized. See for yourself!

  • The concept of UOP is genius; however, the school needs to require GMAT or GRE tests to boost credibility. For those who suck at tests, the school should have a complimentary course for the exam. This is better than just admitting anyone who applies. Also, the school needs to lower its prices dramatically. When I finished my BS at UOP, I found a lot of employers don't trust this school. When I graduated with my MBA from UCLA, doors opened rapidly.

  • In addition, UOP has direct billing with several companies, just to name a few; Ford, Boeing, and Walmart. Now if these companies considered UOP to be a "bogus" institution, why would they have such measures put into place to support their employees? Say what you will, but we live in a technological society and many brick&mortar schools are developing online programs to keep up with the times. But I'll tell you this, they will have to make sure that those programs meet standards as well!

  • Wow! So I guess that I will finally reveal that I am a student of UOP and I know several employees of UOP. I will repeat...UOP is a private school, the programs are designed for individuals who work and have families; not those who live with mommy and daddy still trying to figure out how to make ends meet in the world. People who attend online universities do so because they have a need that online schools can meet! Some of you people need to really just live your own lives and stop hating!

  • Nuclear bombs being diffused by a bunch of preps? What'd you think would happen?

  • If you people bothered to research, you would find out that UOP has the same type of accreditation as Harvard or any other local state school. Regional accreditation is the highest accreditation that any school can receive and UOP has maintained theirs since 1978. Before you would buy a car I would assume that you'd do your research, why would you not do the same thing with an educational institution? The responses here really tell a lot about the type of people who live in this world!

  • The main reason people don't respect UOP is because of the fact that their MBA program lacks AACSB accreditation and does not require a GMAT or GRE. Overall, the school is not that bad. The marketing and over commercialization is what ruins this schools reputation. Otherwise, I found little difference between my business studies at UOP and UCLA. The only difference was that UCLA had more homework and tests. However, if you actually study the material, it is mostly the same for business.

  • I attended UOP to complete my undergraduate degree after leaving the military. I also decided not to get my MBA degree from UOP since I was concerned about the reputation of not having rigorous admission policies. I attended St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. Not much difference in materials, but the expectations in level and quality of work is much higher.

  • St. Mary's College MBA is not AACSB accredited either, but it carries a good reputation in the bay area and St. Mary's has academic affiliations worldwide.

  • thats good to know because im in the military also....any pointers?

  • meisha, it is clear from your response that you need higher education, your grammar mistakes are evidence of your lack of better education! A community college can only offer Associate degrees which is why they are cheaper. UOP is a "PRIVATE" institution therefore they can bypass making you feel like an idiot because you don't have great SAT or ACT scores. FYI, you cannot enroll in any of their undergrad programs if you do not have a diploma or GED. As jjames said, you need to research!

  • UOP is good if you are already in business management and somewhat successful. The degree programs are designed for people who don't have time for traditional schools; however, they really cheapen their image by having few barriers to entry. You will earn a degree which is good provided nobody ask you where you earned your degree. This school is the equivalent to General Motors in the auto industry, they still don't get it about quality. The school is strictly concerned with profit.

  • I would advise anyone to check with community colleges and traditional universities to see what programs they offer online. There is a private, not-for-profit university where I live that offers master degree programs completely online. Community colleges are much cheaper and your credits are more likely to transfer to a university nearby.

  • I attended UoP's Axia College, they didn't even ask for a high school transcript. There are no entrance exams, they don't check to see if you have a diploma or a G.E.D., and they don't check to see if you've taken the SAT or ACT test. You could be mentally challenged and they wouldn't know or care to know as long as they are getting paid.

  • great video.. hilarious.

  • One of the funniest vids I've seen thus far. Good job, guys.

  • You are a dork but I still love you. I don't think you would succeed as a University of Phoenix student and graduate. They will let anybody in who qualifies but it is up to you to graduate. I take classes at the ground campus myself but I do not knock the online students. Chances are that your neighborhood state university is now offering online classes. University of Phoenix was the first.

  • I'm taking my prereqs by taking my exam from CLEP,Dantes, and Excelsior to get into University of Indiana for Bachelor degree of Nursing. It's accredited here in California. I think online classes are awesome, because it's flexible. I can make my own schedule. The hardest part of online classes is turning on the computer. j/k

  • Right on! I actually used to teach for UoP Online, but had finally had enough of the lies; enough of that horrid institution taking unfair advantage of students who either had no better options or simply didn't know for what they were paying. Great vid!

  • any moron with a pulse gets accepted to their for profit school

  • You have no idea what you are talking about, you would never make it through their program. I dare you cowards....

  • Named University of Phoenix Stadium. Furthermore, the professors online hold degrees in various fields. I live on my own and have been doing so since the age of 19. I work full time ten hours a day sometimes six days a week, online courses make it easy to go to obtain a degree and still maintain my independence.

  • How can a parody made about one of the most accredited universities in the country be so inaccurate? With an online course which has set the standard by which other colleges envy; it is no wonder why it is a popular choice amongst the undergrads and graduates. The college has a campus in Arizona which has the naming rights to the stadium formerly known as Cardinal Stadium. The stadium which held the super bowl between the New York Giants and New England Patriots is named...

  • I used this school as a stepping stone to get in to a better school for my MBA; however, most of the work prepares one to be a writer more so than a business man. This was my experience in the business program.

  • UOP is owned by Apollo Group, not Carlyle. There is a Republican fat cat connection though.

  • Yes but what consists of The Apollo Group? Halluburton and Carlyle. Look it up. You got to go deep though

  • Ok, I am seeing a connection here.

Ted Haggard goes to the University of Phoenix, Mary Peters who is the current head of the dept of transportation also attends. UoP is owned by the Carlyle Group who is infamous for employing the majority of the Bush administration. UoP favors Mormons... Dick Cheney has been given an honorary degree at Brigham Young University owned by LDS. There is some dark shit going on here.

  • "There is some dark shit going on here."...where, between your ears? get a grip. get on the team for the big win son.

  • good stuff, lol

  • Are you kidding... Shaq has an MBA from there. Look at how far it has taken him! lol

  • are you serious? His basketball talent has gotten him place not his fake ass degree

  • Salvatrucho213, it's commonly known as sarcasm. Maybe you need to take a course in it. Try OUP for size.

  • wow not even in a community college is there such a time wasting course. If you actually have a course on Sarcasm I pity you.

  • your comment can't be serious! I was both ironic and sarcastic in an attempt to demonstrate to you... oh God, this is a waste of time. OF COURSE UOP DOESN"T HAVE A SARCASM COURSE!

  • I wouldn't be surprised if it did. It is a bullshit college

  • I got my underwater basketweaving (with minor in sarcasm) from fenex online

  • You're both wrong. Kazaam and Shaq-Fu clearly got him to where he is today.

  • hahahahhahahaaha

In high school I worked at Wal Mart as a cashier and my supervisor (supervisor, not manager) received her degree from there. Look at how far you can go with a BA in business administration...supervising cashiers at Wal Mart. It doesn't get much better than that.

  • hahahahhahahaaha

  • I got my BA degree at UOP; however, nobody respects this school. The classes are about as challenging as any other school but the entrance is a joke. The schools needs to do something about this. I just dropped out of there MBA to go to a real school (UCLA)and that is a tough school to get in to. Besides many public schools now offer working MBAs. Do the extra work, trust me. Phoenix is a business not a school.

  • I tried UofP for two weeks and was not impressed. For some this might be okay. The problem is a lot of their Masters programs are not accredited. I wanted to do an MS in Psychology but found out I could not be licensed as a masters level therapist if I had a degree from UofP. I did not like the sales pressures of the recruiters. Too much for profit attitude, makes the quality suffer. I agree this is a business. I would rather have the respect of going to a state school personally.

  • Anyone who thinks UP is a legitimate university is only kidding themselves. Wanting your fake degree to be real will not make it real. You are either a no talent hack who can't get into a real university or an idiot that fell for the sales pitch. If you don't agree with me: I will stop by 7/11 during your shift and we can chat about it while you get me a slurpee.

  • lmaoo UOP SHOULD BE SHOULD DOWN..THERE JUST RIPPING U STUDENTS OFF.ITS NOT A REAL COLLEGE

  • You should attend UOP because you really need to learn how to write. At UOP, students are required to write papers in a weekly basis.

  • I have attended. You do have to do work to get your degree. Yes they are accredited, but some of their programs are not. A lot of their masters programs are not accredited. UofP can be good for some but not for me personally. Once I told my advisor I was leaving she immediately changed her attitude towards me. She knew she would be losing her commission. With all of the controversey, UofP has a lot of work to do to earn respect in the academic world.

  • Sorry buddy, you cannot earn commission in the education industry. Commission is not earned at UoP. Go to school, learn a little....

  • I am glad I did not go to UoP. That place is a joke. I am going to graduate school at state school (with most of the work can be done via online). When I withdrew from UoP the counselor got so pissed at me (who can blame her she is losing out on commission) Please people, all they care about is getting asses in the classes. Go get a good education at a state school.

  • why don't you go to a real school?

  • Because of the ignorance within Academia, I think regular testing would be a great idea to save this schools reputation. The program is actually quite good but heavily under-rated. I am going to show this to the management at the school. This video is truly what people think of the school. The marketing strategy the school uses cheapens the schools image. When I first attended for my MBA, I felt the same way. However, I can say the program is not easy.

  • Many people assume UOP is no good simply because it does not require any testing to get in such as the GMAT, GRE etc. When I attended CSU, I found easier than UOP where I am finishing my MBA. Students at Phoenix are usually experienced in the real world; thus, being more qualified than a lot of younger less experienced students at state schools. Yes I know, state schools are cheaper. However, know all the facts before you knock something.

  • I go to Uop too, and for those knocking online, it's only for the most dedicated, well disciplined, students. It's what you put into it, and being a self learner without teacher input, is can be pretty difficult for some.

  • I'm pursuing my MBA at UOP at this moment. I love it. And funny thing is people don't really know that UOP has physical campuses. I go to one in Pasadena, CA. Teachers are great, people say it's easy, and students get A's and B's just like that. Well I just got C-in my Finance and Accounting class, hm...

  • Everyone defending this school needs to shut up. Get your ass up and go to class on time everyday instead of sitting at your damn computer and just logging on. Most of you are probably youtubing it anyway. Try studying for exams you need to get into real programs. UoP doesn't require SATs or GREs, GMAT, etc. Anyone can sign up, but not everyone can attend a real university such as the University of California. Plus other universities are actually signifcantly cheaper. Try doing some research.

  • I teach at those Universities. Interesting that you don't think UoP is any good, yet Universities such as UofC,CalState and others acknowledge my degree and allow me to teach at their university.

  • Thank you... I think UOP is great and you only get out of it what you put into it

You should really see my classmates, all are great people, all come from different backgrounds, and all work very hard to get their MBA degree.

  • Sorry, not everyone can sign up with UPX. Do your research.

  • This is stupid and untrue. It is a very difficult program that needs hard work and dedication. I am glad to be part of it. Shame on you to make fun of it. It gives a person a second chance in life and make something out of it. It gave me hope. You can go to a 4 year college and still get a degree but there is no way you can get away with that in UOP.

  • it's a joke, get over it.

  • From your profile:

Age: 14 <- Your opinion is worthless.

". . .I hate reading and get bored very easily."

Well I guess that explains your future.

  • that was completely uncalled for. i'm telling someone to lighten up and you just come in here and start attacking me?

  • This is so ignorant. I went to SDSU and found it easier than Phoenix. I am completing my MBA at Phoenix and it is much harder than SDSU. Also, most of the students are real working professionals or business owners, not 18 year old kids. This guy obviously doesn't work. GET A JOB LOSER!

  • Idiot, many people that attend classes on UOP have a bachellor degree, i think you are pathetic, idiot

  • Check your spelling or this what you learned at UoP?

  • Check your spelling and grammar or did you learn to write like that at UOP?

  • "signifcantly". You should check your spelling. Did you even finish college?

  • Try going to school while working 60 hours a week while taking care of a family. People who go to UOP are some of the most hard working people I've met. Just as any school, there is attrition rate and only the people who take school seriously, are hard working, and has the brain capacity to learn the materials graduate from UOP. I challenge these 2 guys to see if they can get through a UOP program. Nothing in this video is true.

  • (...continuation)..a few pea size brained idiots who think that getting drunk every night on their parents money is the way to get through an educational program.
