  • "Ain't got a clue how to handle dogs" lol. this says it all

  • learn from eldad he knows how to handle stray dogs...

  • Those pups look to be siblings. I kept waiting for them to jump out that open front door once they were in the car. Yeah. Short lady looked like she didn't have much experience with dogs & looked scared of being bit. Animal control wouldn't have been so nice catching them. Great job ladies.

  • FUCKING STUPID IDIOTS. AINT GOT A CLUE HOW TO HANDLE DOGS.. FUCK SAKE

  • hmmm... yeah... nice job... however gotta say that the lady in the 'dog training' car didn't look like she knew what she was doing with the DOGS... this video is from 2006 so hopefully she has fine tuned her dog handling skills over the years:)... what ever happened to the dogs? where are they now?

  • these dogs are street smart

  • now i have seen tons of things and this is one great thing!!!! :)

  • sweet dogs, so did you save them?

  • God bless you for saving them but why didn't you just pick them up? You probably could have and then the white one wouldn't have freaked so much and upset the other one..

  • what happened to them, they are still pups

  • well... you caught them.. but you did it so harsh.. you need to be patient and gentle with them especially when you see that they are scared.

  • Thank you for caring! So many people just pass animals by...

  • was there only 2 dogs ??

  • I'd be nervous if i thought i'd be captured and made into a curry. And thats not a joke.

  • Short hair lady is retarded. She kept scaring them. The braided-hair lady is much better at appealing to these dogs. The short hair lady should just stick to driving the car.

  • @kellixiongstyle you are right she wasn't good with the dogs

  • Love you guys for doing this!

  • thank you

  • god bless both of you. I wish there were people like you everywhere. please god save all the animals from evil people.

  • If only all people were like you..... Love you :)))

  • You two are awesome :))

  • I love you guys! Earth Angels :)

  • Great job!

  • you are ~ A-N-G-E-L-S ~!!!!

I wish I could send you all the happiness you deserve.

I don't have a shelter but my home looks like one :)

    Vegan Rescuer in Japan here.

  • its always sad to see street dogs... probably neglected by their owners... its soo sad... we always take advantage of them. Dogs are more compassionate than humans and are very loyal beings...... i'm thinking of being a dog rescuer and make a dog shelter of my own... no... i wont put them down... or have any damn rules or cages... i wanna help dogs be happy...

  • chicken shits :) ''I'm not putting them in my car'' xD

  • thanks.

  • spain has the most homeless animals on earth, please go down there and help some of them, i was in spain a few years ago, me and my friends meet a dog there, we tried to get the dog to follow us true the city, and it did, we had a really good time together, i could tell the dog was really sick, he followed us for about 3 hours, we gave him food and drinks, i saw in hes eyes he really enjoyed the time with us. later that day we found him dead in a bush near the beach, we buried him near a church.

  • Those poor babies, they are so sweet . They will be great companions. You know something is wrong when dogs arn't afraid of cars, but they are of humans....

  • great job .. you see that poor dog must have been maltrattat

  • awww....theyre so scared

  • great lady, she even adopted them, i wish i could see how they r now.

  • I love you guys, I've done the same thing...

  • OMG it breaks my heart to see how they are vulnerable and scared. And the way the black dog is protecting his friend...

  • MegaSkya- as long as you gain the trust of the dog, and observe the behavoior than actually taking them to a shelter is best, and yes i agree with the non-kill shelter

  • please do not take dogs to the shelter that you know nothing about. take them to A NO KILL SHELTER!!

  • @MegaSkya there's no excuse for euthanizing dogs. if there were no kill "shelter" employees who deserve no jobs or respect, that problem wouldn't exist.

  • Right idea but really dumb handling!

  • awh look at them, all they want is a little love, and probably a little food too.

  • Very NICE!!! Thank you for saving these dogs.

  • Great Job! You two really make every effort to rescue the dogs. Those poor dogs would wind up as bait or starve to death.

  • whats is sad is that these dogs sometimes dont know anybetter and will keep coming back to people and sometimes the people they come back to are only looking to hurt them but lucky for these two littles one they are in the hands of wonderful caring people.

  • I wish I knew what happened to these two dogs. What an amazing video - such dedication on the part of the 2 women. I work in rescue and sure hope there was a happy ending.

  • what a nice lady's you are !!! well done for your hard work

  • its sad to see how nervous they are flinching to every raise of the hand, they must hace been abused, they really have a way with dogs to get trust so quickly, you guys are great

  • Those dogs were so terrified of humans and so young. So terrified but submissive when kindness was shown to them. Thank you for having such a kind heart and patience to rescue these poor wee souls. I hope they found a good home.

  • my poor rotty was in that condition when i rescued her from an abusive home. :( my poor bella baby! but since i train "power breeds" she now aims to please!^^

  • Look at those cuties~

  • Thank you, you give me hope that there are still good people in this world:)

  • it's nice to know there is still some love left in this world, those two ladies done a great job

  • i rescued a Jack Russell Terrier yesterday! it was so cool!

  • @TheCrazyAnimalGIRL Nice. Did you keep it?

  • @Snauzer67 no :( i have a maltese. The Jacky was too jumpy for us and her. we sent her to a rescue, she seems quite happy there! were still trying to find her owner :)

  • @TheCrazyAnimalGIRL Stil awesome of you!

  • how sweet, see? if there were no people like them in the world, where would our animals be?

  • Dogs are loyal and loving to humans. We should treat them as trusted friends.

There are many cases that dog saves humans who they don't even know.

  • Mans best friend,thats wy

  • i love people who just carry around bags of dog food in there truck just in case.

    <3

  • aww he was trying to protect his friend.

  • what lovely woman, real saints, thanks for caring for mans best friend.

  • i really hope those 2 dogs end up in a home together. They are so close that it'll be almost cruel to tear them apart, even if it is in good homes.

  • Im irish and i wish we had people like that in ireland and greece because greece abuses dogs like no other. barrel dogs and everything.

    well done.

  • interesting fact about the glasses

  • what happens @8:27 that the dog never been on a leach, thats why he reacts like that

  • Such a lovely video... you might be interested to have a look at my channel and the dog i rescued.

  • Big hearts - thanks for all you do. You might want to try a simple lightweight "slip lead." It's a standard tool in any vet's office. But, great work!

  • They protect each other. You can tell they are good friends. :)

  • you should have grabed them without being afraid..... they were not violent dogs... just scared... so cute they rescued them :)

  • just pick up the damn dogs

  • While its wonderful that they rescue these dogs and they are clearly animal lovers with huge hearts, they have no idea how to work with these fearful dogs. Their attempts to leash the two dogs accomplished nothing but further traumatizing the dogs. I think that shelters should educate their workers is dog psychology not simply coercion or crisis aversion.

  • Never seen a downwards tail wag. poor frightened things, I'm glad you were there to help them.

  • God Bless you for your efforts and it reminds me of the old Mary Poppins song about "feeding the Birds" "All around the cathedral, the saints and apostles look down as she sells her wares. Although you can't see it you know they are smiling, each time someone shows that they care" God sees your good works and smiles. Thank you!

  • Problem happens @8:09. The dog was calm. Just approach with equal calm. No need to change the energy.

  • great thaat they save them

  • I am russian to

  • Im russin, and a wanna say, very nice job to save animals americans!

  • So cute! They almost look like they've got some dachshund in them with those stubbish little legs =3

    Hope they found good homes!!

  • A wonderful rescue!

How did it go with the dogs? Could they find new homes?

  • Bravisime.

  • oo so cute but u forgot to give the whitte dog a treat and gave em al to da other one sad.. but nice thing

  • that is the sweetest thing ive ever seen, brought tears to my eyes...People like you should be rewarded for your kind human nature.

  • The dogs are socialized to people, even though much of that socialization has been negative. A puppy passes through its socialization period at 8-13 weeks. If the puppy isn't socialized to people during that very narrow period of its life, it will remain wild, and incapable of responding to any human voice, touch or kindness.

  • good job girls!!! love the job you did

i hope the dogs will have a good life now

you blessed with does 2 angels!!!

    god bless you 2!!!

  • she shud watch the dog whisperer

  • I'm glad that woman said she was going to adopt both of them. It would have been tragic if they had been taken to a shelter and then separated.

  • what a wonderful video!! What's the update on the dogs? Did they get adopted out? You two are angels for helping those two cute dogs.... Well done!

  • Those are two great ladies. I hope those sweet, precious dogs got in to good forever homes.

  • I've done this myself several times, and have often kept the dogs (only if I had an opening). One of the most wonderful dogs in my life was Heidi, who was wild and hard to catch like these two. It took several hours of gentle coaxing and feeding before I could touch her and pick her up. But once she attached to me, I could let her run free in parks, and with one little whistle she'd speed back to me. For 11 years I was blessed with her. These "worthless strays" are absolutely wonderful beings.

  • thank you!

  • oh the world definitely needs more people like you.

  • This is so awesome. What a great dog rescue.

  • Nice video, and for those that think it's nice to be a stray...get a clue these are not wolves in the wild.Use your apex predator brain a little O.K.?

Geez! The reason they are as they are is because of foolish people who don't take responsibity for their actions in caring for their domestic animals!

    Makes my B.P. rise indeed.

    Thanks for the post,5 stars!

  • That's really awsome , God Bless u all ! How could I go about getting into something like this ??

Thank u 4 posting..... we need more people like u

  • thank you (:

  • There are truly some really great people out there.

  • Perhaps the women would be more "acceptable" if they were to do nothing to help anyone, or anything...and, instead just criticize...like you.

  • If only everyone could be like this

  • i love you guys, you did very good job rescuing them

  • Thank you for your awesome work rescuing dogs downtown.

  • God bless you!

  • if you really like animals, please watch EARTHLINGS!

  • aww, the darker one wanted to protect his buddy! good work ladies!

  • that was nice of you guys to rescue the dogs!! but what the heck you guyes dont no how to chech dogs do you take it from me in 15 and i have rescued 26 dogs in my whole life and i can cech a dog better than that! but great job ! i hope they found good homes!!

  • theyre trying to avoid scaring them anymore. they already have 0% trust in humans so far, they want to try and change that, not traumatise them more.

  • how come both dogs have their tails between their legs??

  • theyve probably had no friendly contact in their lives, theyre only pups, so they'll be fine, but they would've been kicked at, had stuff thrown at them, yelled at, to try to stop them getting close, incase they followed peoplr home. it will take a bit of work to show them people can be trusted.

  • just a few comments. THANKS for rescuing the pups. but you NEED to get a catch pole or two, and collapsable crates.... those are the main essential tools when rescuing strays, etc. but, aside from that, thanks again for rescuing them... so cute!!!

  • you are amazing people!

  • wow u guy r good.

  • hello i am spanish.i don,t know english vero well.i only want to say:good work!!!thanks for people like you.how are the dogs??they are adopted??what happened with them?kisses

  • thankgoodness for people like you..i saw some horrors wen i was in georgia usa..in uk abuse goes on but we do have some great societys to help..i cudnt find any1 to help me in georgia wen i tried to rescue a dog chained up..a kat in the road and many more cases.

great patience with the dogs ..they feared humans and we all know why..takes time to get their trust back ..well done

  • Ooooo this is so sad, the way they reacted when they seemed to think they were going to be separated!! I hope they met with a happy circumstance after this vid was taken..

  • I believe plaidskunk and Indio 156 have the best ideas. I say that, never having done rescues, but they just make sense to me.

It brought me to tears watching those poor dogs. I hope those responsible for dumping them get their just desserts.

Thank you for all you do, Dogtown ladies, and I'll be watching your NGEO program about the Vick dogs on Sept. 5.

  • ps What amazing patience! LoLLy says it's worth it, when you can have that much patience to rescue one of us. :)

  • Absolutely terrific. LoLLy is a rescue and without people like you she would not be here today bringing all the love and joy she brings. Also, this is helpful to all of us who come across dogs that need rescuing -- helpful tips and technique. Thanks for all you do.

  • great video and a great thing that ya'll did...how are the dogs doing?

  • Angels! The dogs & the rescuers!

  • et merci a toi mon amì!!! ^_^

  • I noticed that males dogs are more fearful than female dogs. Why is that?

  • I'd like to know what happened to those dogs. They both need a bit of training/socializing but they seem to have it in them to make good companions for someone.

  • great keep it up!!!!

  • Such cute, sweet dogs. They seemed real close, I hope they could be rehomed together!

  • super!!!!!!

  • Thanks for rescuing those two schmackie dogs! they are so sweet and friendly, even in their fear!

  • Excellent team work. Thanks for being true heros. Are you going to do an update on how they are doing? That would be very nice.

  • Update ? What happend to them - were they homed ( would have been nice if they could have remained together ) PLEASE EVERYONE - support/encourage SPAY & NEUTERING and laws that punish abandonment !

  • the girl said right at the end that she could adopt both of them

  • nature bless you!

  • great job girls! 5 stars

  • Look at loyal the two dogs are towards each other when they try to get them into the car. They protect each other. Its so sad how people just dump dogs. they have heart and soul too maybe even more than humans as they are so loyal.

  • poor things are scared to death

  • Yeah but at least we know they're going to be living much better!

  • These are not people, they are angels.

  • correct me if im wrong but. Doesnt it mean their scared or nervice when there tails are down like that.

  • yeh i think it does

they were probably abused by previous owners or people on the street, and that's why they were so scared of the ladies

  • Just pick them up or put the food in the car and shut the door. I rescued a Siberian Huskey from a horrible man who had them chained to a pole and was starving her to death. I recued her and she was rehomed to a lovely couple.

  • Its not alway that easy you have to take in account your safety and the harm you may casue to their bodies.

  • Poor lil things are scared to death of people. I wonder what their owners were like. Hopefully they found good homes.

  • It's like the brown dog wants to be saved, but he sure dont want that leash on him. I hope karma kicks butt on the owners that abandoned those dogs.

Thanks for rescuing the sweet looking babies.

NOW, HOW ABOUT A DAMN UPDATE ON THEM??????

  • sweet dogs

  • Thanks for linking to my video. =) Nice things you're doing, too.

  • thank you....

  • Thank for saving animal¡

  • good job !! congratulations !!

  • What beautiful dogs..they look like they would make good pets..Do you know if they have homes yet???

  • When dealing with dogs that are timid like these guys were, try laying down. By making yourself less threatening you will relax them a little. When you can pet the face of a stray dog... put your leash around the hand that is petting the face then slowly bring your other hand up a slowly slide the loop over the dog's head. Good work, girls!

  • make a loop on the leash. reach your hand through the loop to give a snack. then loop it around the neck, pulling your hand out. Or...you could just buy a catchpole.

  • big respect from France guys and girls!you have places in paradise!!

  • good work in helping those dogs.

  • This was a amazing !! God Bless!

  • i salute u guys!

  • TRY THIS: Put the food in a deep mixing bowl with a rim. Place a looped leash around and under the rim. Wait until dog has eaten a bit, pet his ears- one hand or two, you should practice this first- then carefully move it up around his neck and pull.

  • A+++ GREAT video. Thank you so much for saving these adorable little babies!

  • You're doing an amazing service to the animals, but def invest in a catch pole. Sometimes scared or hurt animals can be as dangerous as an angry animal. Please do what you can to protect yourselves while continuing to help the animals in need.

  • i cant help but wonder what they've endured living on the street. there are alot of horrid people out there but how happy i am that there are people like you who won't just leave them. Great video i hope it inspires others to do the same in their area.

  • Beautiful work! Well done! Thank you for this video.

  • so lovely, after watching what China are doing to dogs .

So nice to see some kindness towards animals.

  • oh my god that was so cute that the dog went on top of the other one and god bless you you are god people

  • People who abandon dogs need to get arrested and punished

  • amazing how that darker dog just went on top of her friend to protect her,a couple of times,too<3

  • Those pups like kind soothing voices as much as they do the food. Bless you rescuers!

  • this just made my day!! thanks so much , animals are our partenrs , we need to take care of them!!!

  • Thank you !! God Bless You !! ANGEL YOU ARE !!

  • God bless these people. They are seriously gifts from God to do this wonderful thing!

  • guess wat i wanna do for work wen i grow up :D

    be an RSPCA person :)

i love animals so so much

  • Maravilloso trabajo, bien hecho. Ojala que mucha gente fuera asi. Yo tambien rescate una perrita french poddle de la calle, y esta muy contenta en mi casa junto con mis otros 3 perros. Creo que los animales muchas veces agradeceb mejor que la gente. Buen trabajo y sigan asi.

  • Those poor, sweet kids. You patient, compassionate people. I teared up watching this. Heads-up for good karma...

  • Bravo, ladies! You did great! There should be more people out there who give a damn like you do!

  • Very nice job and i hope you find a good place for them. i also like the way the puppys came alomg in the end.

  • Slow but nice and great job.

  • it's nice to see how the doggies learn to trust and as they do their tails go up higher and start to wag

  • yay animal rescue ppl, yay
