i was so moved by this video, it brought me to tears. i want to make a huge difference one day and acompilish all or at least one of those goals. Thumbs up if you want to do the same.
I'm excited for the end of year 12, I've made up my mind and I'm going to uni sa! This video is amazing and I cried. I really want to make a difference in this world and I can't think of a better place to start! GO UNI SA!!
@ndgage21 I think we can we can have a little human sacrifice for this planet and it's animals (other than humans) we've damaged this earth so much we owe it to show some respect and save the tree's. Remember this planet is what's keeping YOU alive. It won't be here forever the way we keep going.
Are you joking? Almost all scientific estimation places species extinction well within the range of 1 species per 10 minutes, in fact, many place it at around 200 species per day. We don't see most of them, because the average human being only knows about/encounters a very small percentage of all species on the earth, but the figures are FAR scarier than we could ever have imagined.
Not bacteria so much, some insects, a deeply unnerving number of small mammals, birds and especially reptiles. And we are doing it, much as people would love to believe otherwise.
I saw this at UniSA Mawson Lakes just last week as part of a lecture on future pathways. The entire group of 250+ people, myself included, was incredibly moved by the video. It sent a powerful message to all of us, that we have the potential to change life for the better.
This wasn't an easily tamed group either, just goes to show how powerful a message it sends.

you know what is the scariest thing?
Is that we're all commenting on the death of animals ..right after it just mentions the deaths of children from a single disease every day.
But you know, apparently the effort should go to saving trees, right?
