He is a memorable skater. There is nothing superfluous about his work. You can see the thought behind every move; the precision; the emphasis on doing it right.
I think I would rather see Paul Wylie do one perfect single axel than a thousand struggling quads from today's skaters.
Paul is one of the best skaters ever to grace the ice, I love how he flows so easy to the music. I think he is fabulous and I was given the pleasure to see him perform in person and it was one of the most wonderful experiences ever.
I'm 34. I Remembr seeing Paul perform this live n Dallas, Tx at Discover Card's Stars on Ice tour. I was so in love with him! I waited until just before his performance and snck down to ringside seats to watch. He is still my most favorite skater of all time!
I'm 25 years old, I can't remember what I learned in school the day before, but hell if I can remember watching this performance when I was 8 years old.
Paul Wylie is so terrific. I love his music choices and artistry. I just wish I understood the language being spoken my the commentator. :) Thanks so much for sharing this video.
This should be Paul's theme song. He worked so hard for that olympic medal and he finally got it.
