I just heard Ray Manzarek say he listened to electronic music today, in some interview he did with a fan, and now I'm hearing John say it. I'm a huge fan of John and Ray, but electronic music is just not inspiring to me at all. I totally agree with what he's saying about "changing," for sure. I started out listening to Led Zeppelin, which led me into classic rock, folk, punk, alternative, grunge, acid rock, and classical, but I've always avoided electronics.

John is not god, he is not Jesus and he's barely a celebrity. He would hate being tagged with such things, it's those kinds of reasons why he left the chili's in the first place. John is a very special artist and I'm sure he would rather influence people than for people to worship him blindly. John talks the way he does because of his dentures and also he is really thinking about what he's saying, unlike a lot of people who tend to bullshit a lot.
