well, it is a great performance, but, if you watch you will see that he does waver, and he is consuming lots of ale on stage, Pete at one point, threatens to fire him again, I think the saddest thing to me is that he lays down some wild stuff in the studio on next & quad, yet can never re create them live due to "over indulgence"
lesson is " keep your partying in check"
I do think it is the best recording of My Generation
thanks very much for the 3 *ratings I'm having a very bad week, and that made me feel good, don't think I can't take constructive criticism, I really want it
Thanks to you both, yes I was having fun, I love Quad, it is an emotional roller coaster ride, a timeless piece of youth coming of age confusion.
yeah, this was Keith's Swan song, his health seemed to drop right after recording, they had many issues on this tour, many cancellations and had to revamp the song list, cutting alot of Quad out, if I remember correctly
Just imagine what Keith could have done if he practiced, worked out, and limited partying
You have done a good job of extracting the essence :-)

Me thinks: Put together a Who tribute band akin to the Australian Pink Floyd and on that scale.
A killer 2 hour show, a trip back in time to a Who concert @78

That was excellent!
Looks like you were having fun too! That's my favorite Who album. I feel that Quad featured Keith Moons best playing. IMHO
Can't wait for Bell Boy!!!!
