I've not noticed the braking continuing as you describe.

the sound is amazing, the only other sound loco ive seen is the class 20 which i wasnt keep of, this though is fantastic. can you tell me beast66606 if this has the glitch like the class 20 where by the braking sound continues even after the loco has stopped, sometimes i noticed for about 6 or 7 seconds
