Exactly why is everyone comparing Alexz to Miley? Is it because they both were on Disney Channel? If so that's a really trite reason.

I'm not a fan of Miley Cyrus though I do think her dad is a bit funny, well at least he has his moments. But I adore Alexz's sound from the Voodoo album. While it might be considered pop, I really think it's got a nice modern jazz feel to it. It's a nice title for the album because of the southern flavor. Plus I'm a sucker for women in hats. :)

@livinlikemusic well, sometimes ppl who aren't super star famous are way better they appreciate their music more. thy are famous enough. like meg and dia, have c.d.'s out keep putting them out steady flow of fans. Make a little money off of it, and really do it for the love of it. it becomes more satisfying otherwise when they become too famous it becomes all about image and huge concerts and not the music like it should be.
