  • Thank you, that is some useful information.

  • im trying to oreder a helmet online from motorcycle superstore, i measured between 55cm to 56cm, what size should i get? (adult)

  • Question: How is it that the 1st helmet what "quite tight going on", yet too big once it was on. But the 2nd helmet seems to slip on a lot smoother, yet more snug fit afterwards ?

  • @sypher0101 prolly different cushins less stiff may let the head slip at the second situation while the actual helmet is a lot smaller even by looking at it you can see it

  • that was informative.

  • 240p, we meet again.

  • Thank you!

  • What model is that second helmet?

  • Second helmet is Arai. Isn't it? What model?

  • @lookosz Arai Condor Neevesy

  • @marcus3df Lose weight.

  • @marcus3df

Its to small. Sell it, and bye a bigger one. Your helmet is supposed to be tight, but not so tight, that it hurts!

The advise he gave about messuring your head is all you need to know. If you know your messurments then you can easely bye a helmet online. I know Im a sice 59. I have bought 2 helmets online and they both fit perfectly:-)

  • I went to motorreflex belgium, They have a lot of helmets there, The sales men did not measure my head, but he put a small and a medium on and he did the same things like the man here! So I'm verry happy with my XR1R Carbon from Nexx!

  • @Rampage001 hi um what size did u end up taking? and wat size is ur head because i have to order one and im not sure between the zmall and medium

  • Comment removed

  • @dkart01

I had size Medium, I also did try a small, but that wass tooo small! And with my XR1R there is a special set included that allowes you to adjust the helmet perfect to your head!

  • i was jus gonna buy an helmet... but damn this information was quite a good advice... thank you so much now i know how to buy the rite size :)

  • very useful. thx a lot !

  • Crappy video coming from the importer of Arai helmets - Arai takes pride in making helmets of different shapes - nothing was said about head shape - sheesh

  • well you wouldnt want to get too much into detail though. this video is for everyone and is to help prevent fatalities

  • can't rely on using a measuring tape I find.. the shape of the head makes a big difference. I measure my head and I got about 59cm or 23inches. I wear an XL. I tried others and they felt painfully tight. But my friend who also measures the same length is wearing a medium.. how does that work ??

  • squirrel cheeks?

  • buen video

  • Quite informative! :)

  • I'm running out of the shop at 1.37

  • HA HA HA!!! I didn't even notice that. Creepy as fuck.

  • I just measured my head and its 23 inches

  • I just measured my cock and its 23 inches

  • your sick lol

  • lol porn superstar

  • you'll never get pussy ahaha

  • Neither will you with a YZ125

  • was that your come back? seriously? how about you stop taking extenze cause your dick is not almost 2ft.

  • yeah!!!!tahts right

    ;)

  • thanks for the upload and information.

  • Dude THaanks :D Sweet man

  • besides left/right, up/down..

you also have to test if the helmet rolls over by grabbing the back of the helmet and pulling it off.

  • by grabbing the back of the helmet and pulling it off u move it down. dont you?

  • depends on how you roll it.

but the roll off test is with the strap fastened, and see if the helmet comes off, not if it covers your eye.

  • i have a pretty big head, and i dont want to wear a XL cuz i look like E.T lol, im wondering if i could make the padding smaller so my head would fit on a med or a large, do they sell smaller padding for helmets?????

  • maybe they do sell smaller padding but if the XL fits you perfectly wear it. and every one looks like ET with a helmet unless you have a tiny head.

  • Have you tried Shoei helmets? They got many shell sizes...

  • Also try opening and closing your mouth, the inside of your cheack needs to get between you teeth...

  • I bought a dirt bike helmet a while ago and i have a big head so i got a xxl and its really tight at the front of my head and at the sides they scratch the side of my head right behind my eyes really bad and it hurts when i put it on and hurts the front of my head is there any way i can like make it fit like streatch it?

  • My head is actually a 60cm and I went with a medium for an Arai Corsair rx-7. Large was too large on me and I could do what the beginning shot showed of him moving his head around...

You can always change the pads in these helments but I felt a lot better going with the Medium over large. There are no hot spots on my head and it's nice and tight! Love it!

  • thanx bro

  • very, very good post. BRAVO

  • Muy efectivo.

    Gracias por compartirlo

  • alright!! brilliant film, now, many people learned how to purchase helmet properly, including me :) very nice!

  • Grande arai!

  • hmm, what should you do if you have long hair ?

  • cut your hair

  • nah

    I rather ride without a helmet :P

  • than were a turban

  • LOL!!

I will think of something else :D

  • cut yr hair dud!!

  • I don't wanna cut it!!

I'll think of something else :D

  • Should you do something?

  • One very important thing that's not mentioned by this "tutorial" is the fact that the helmet's interior is starting to compress after some usage. Mainly, the sponge parts. So in many cases, a perfect sized helmet might seem a bit tight at first.

  • mines exactly 57 hahah i fit in both medium and small (abit tight but fits) medium is perfect and not 2 snugle :)

  • great video! I got a question for u.

I just bought a medium helmet , that was the right size for me, but it feels too tight.

    Is that normal?

  • that's as it's supposed to be. It will adapt to your head after you wear it so many times and won't be tight any more.

  • fantastic advice cheers! pity ive a skinny neck! can never get rid of that helmet noise!

  • try using a neck brace haha

  • i got a 3 years with the wrong helmet...Thank you.

  • WHOOOO i'm a 58 !

  • i wanna buy my helmet off this guy

  • my head is 58cm too...

I was right on the spot when i got my helmet!

  • brilliant!

  • Should have watched this before I got my helmet. Returning it tomorrow!

  • top advice !

  • great video. this will help me alot.

  • Thanks!

  • Excellent...!

  • Perfect !
