  • What a fantastic film. Does anyone know who composed this score? It's amazing!

  • GenzorX has Insane Clown Posse and death metal on his profile........Yeah....One of those guys.........

  • Power Beat♪!

  • Visual/video experiement such as this has now influenced drone's of "wannabe" artists/students. Get a grip-the real artists are laughing at these morons who find some sort of awe in this garbage.

  • what happened to Eisenstein?

  • предтеча всего современного кино

  • Who is the composer of the score? Schnittke? Sounds quite his style. Thanks!

  • According to IMDB, this version of the film with music by the Alloy Orchestra follows the written instructions from the director, Dziga Vertov. The Alloy music is in my opinion much more in sync with the images and style of the film than the jazz version. Here, when the music gets going, it is at times

reminiscent of Prokofiev and very exciting.

  • it looks like a modern videoclip, the language keep remaining the same, even after 100 years...

  • I was a child when It was released

  • I don't really get the point. Would like to get it though.

  • He was just way way ahead of his time. He pretty much came up with most of the camera techniques we use today all at once. Split screen, following people with the camera instead of a static point of view, transposing two imges on top of each other, fast forward and reversing the film to achieve certain effects etc... He was a genius for his time

  • @ElmaHayworth9 With your attitude, I know that you will.

  • what's the music guys??

    plz!!! thanks in advance!

  • wow, I'm glad I found this again. Almost forgot what a good film looks like.

  • One of the 20th century's most astonishing works of genius- and the film doesn't seem to grow stale or diminish at all with further viewings

  • dsffsdff

  • This might be called the first "music video" in history.
