he shot the ball but the guy stuck his leg out to block it, therefore, the guy kicked his CLEATS full power instead of the ball (those are metal cleats by the way). You can see that his left shoe is all bloody underneath(watch the video again). The defenders shoes tore up the strikers ankle..

man! cut some artery is the most serious thing that can happen, why?, cause if you dont have irrigation to the distal part of the leg, it wont receive O2, that makes a necrosis tissular, and after that...only amputation is the option, because the risk of get an infection is high. so... if you see somebody bleeding like the hell, go like a damn to the hospital or it could be too late.
