  • Way to post crap on youtube.....

  • I like the old VMware icon.

  • it all ok

  • If you guys really upto learning linux or unix commands, I can recommend training dvds by unix academy for under $100 you get both training and certification. I was windows person for as long as I remember, but because of my job started with Linux and I'm really impressed how much I learned in just two weeks. For system administration EVi Nemeth' books are very great too

  • Thank you ! =)

  • test

  • how to instal sofware for all xp to linux help me,,,im newbe on linux help this tutorial ,,,thnks

  • @moelyana85 Hello, download and install VMware Workstation, and creates a virtual disk to install Linux on it.

  • it is actualy benifite

  • I think i know your password...lol.....it seems like a easy to guess word...maybe ...root?....or poop....or...boob...lol...guessing...

  • useless shit. Learn to use voice or gtfo.

  • bullshit video........

  • What kinda shit was that anyway?

  • Sounds like your audiostream just got directed into /dev/null

  • @AppA that was great .... even initially you can hear the audio stream distinctly rolling into/ dev/null

  • backtrack is for security systems..is funny if you want to learn hacking

  • If you are more interested in system administration than security auditing, there are better livecds than backtrack.

Sysrescuecd is my favorite because it is based upon Gentoo, includes four kernels, two each 32 and 64 bit for working in different chroots, and includes a good set of programs.

  • Actually I have found that BackTrack is starting to (frankly) suck. I like Xubuntu and then install all I need for pentesting. However, this means I have pentesting software on my machine so.. eh...

  • Wow that is a really nice boot disk! Thanks for sharing this.

  • i not see what they do in this

  • what is name of this program

    the full name

  • Unix commands actually :D.

  • not bad, as you said it's a great tute to help newbies start looking around their filesystem

  • very nice talk

thanks and keep it up I need more of this

  • what command did you use for "navigate" between different process? I can't see it

  • Is BackTrack better than Knoppix??...

  • Knoppix STD? I'd say BackTrack is most known for wireless WEP cracking. It has other stuff, which is great too, so I'd say backtrack.

  • If you're referring to Knoppix Security Tools Distribution (STD), then yes I would say that BackTrack is better because Knoppix STD is outdated and no longer supported. However, Knoppix also has a live CD distro which isn't network security based. If security based is what you're looking for than I suggest you use BT. If you want a Linux live CD distro in general, Knoppix is good as well.

  • Thanks, I've just downloaded BackTrack 3.0!........

Better than Knoppix STD and live.......awesome!!

  • No problem man, enjoy.

  • thanks

  • ***thanks for the info man, i realy apreciated people like you care for others to learn****

  • nice video, but next time get a better keyboard and go easy on the keys.

  • Thanks

  • content 5; visibility 2

  • Thank you for posting this video, helped me get to grips with linux a bit more.

  • This is a great video idea, but do you have this perhaps available to download anywhere as the video seems too low res to read whats going on

  • Great video. Thanks. Keep doing.

  • Nice video man, I love Linux, I have been working with it since I was 13. What program did you use to make the video?

  • That's a live CD called BackTrack. Its great for pentesting wireless networks. The tools on there are top notch. Price=FREE DOWNLOAD.

  • Great Video, i am on Ubuntu 7.10 and u told me a lot of how to use Command Line , thanks a lot please post more videos like this on terminal, Thanks a lot
