You got that right on the nose. I hate to see so many people not know how to appreciate someone like Ronnie Milsap. I think the fact that he is blind, but can see through his music is awsome.

People made similar criticisms of Ronnie Milsap 25 years ago. His use of synthesizers and drum machines, distorted guitars, and sophisticated arrangements were dismissed by many as "selling out".

Music was targetted at teens back then, just as much as now, but you probably were a teen, so you didn't notice.

Thanks for uploading. I can't really remember a time when I did not love Ronnie's music. I miss hearing him and other country legends on the radio. Up here in Ottawa a few years ago, Ted Rogers decided to close down CJET, which played all of the greats, including this song.

Now all you get is this soulless garbage aimed at fifteen year olds.

I used to listen to him when I was in fifth grade. Hey I'm 23 now and still appreciate his stuff even though Country is not my Genre. A similar artist like him I also admire is Dan Seals.
