As a teacher myself firstly I'll say well done, you play clear and clean throughout, never rushing nor slowing any section. You could do the exam like this and do well, bit more practice can never hurt :) you might like to also know that I have my grade 2 students using your video as a practice guide! so keep up the good work.
Hi.. you say that you are struggling, which suggests that you think you're not playing the piece well. But you playing of it isn't as bad as you think - it's quite good in fact. What I would say is that you seem to adopt a claw like technique with your right/picking hand. This is fine for some kinds of picking - esp delta type blues where you want pluck the strings so that they slap on the fret-board...
Hi - I teach guitar, came across your video, and nothing to laugh about atall! Your playing is solid and you have all the ingredients to progress - enjoy your playing and don't be down on yourself dude!
Well done matey, i've been trying to play that fingerstyle exercise as well, you've certainly nailed the Dm7 to Fmaj7, keep us all posted with your progres !
clear and fluent , i reckon you should do well playing like that in the exam , try not put yourself down too much as that can hamper your projection ,
hey thats really good you didnt seem to be strugling at all .. well done ... im think ing of doing the intial , preimary grade an perhaps grade 1 sometime.. i havent been playing long how long have you been playing
I've found learning the guitar one of the most satisfying things I've ever done - I started about 2 years ago - progress has been slow! I soon learned not to measure myself against other people just against myself - there are some amazing players on youtube - young kids who've been playing for a few months who can run rings around me - but who cares i enjoy playing!
