Actually it must be 'Hazuki Jujitsu'.

in Japan martial arts where handed over from father to son, so if a family 'xxx' has a martial arts tradition they will the the xxx Karate or xxx Jujitsu , etc...

The Hazuki family must have clearly had such tradition, since they had a Dojo annexed to their mansion.

There are many different styles of Jujitsu. The Hazuki style is just a form of Jujitsu that Ryo's dad originated himself.

@iamsosweet91 Indeed. I think in the native tounge, it would be pronounced as "Hazuki-Ryu Jujitsu" (Ryu being pronounced in one syllable as "Rue")

You can't change the language in the Dreamcast version. Dreamcast = Japanese Xbox = English

Woo! Nice to see some Tai Chi in a game for once :) Jujitsu is probably the closest to Wushu (Kung Fu) of the Japanese martial arts, and Shaolin is just the category that Wushu belongs to. Tai Chi belongs to the category Wudang, as it approaches martial arts differently (as he explains). Of the styles of Tai Chi, the Chen style is closest to Wushu in terms of the fast movements it contains, which would make what he's practicing Qigong (Reeling Silk), a series of Chen style exercises.

That is assuming the game developers know their Tai Chi, as it looks more like Yang style Pang Lu Chi Han to me (not that you can't also do those basic movements in the Chen style, but it looks too soft for Chen). The Yang style (the style most known in the world and the one I'm most familiar with) is usually even more minimalistic, with less focus on explosive bursts of energy, but it can be sped up as a whole to be just as, if not more lethal.

Jujutsu is a Japanese martial arts formed from samurai. Tai Chi is a branch off of Kung Fu which is Chinese. You can have different styles with martial arts, Ryo has a certain style of Jujutsu called Hazuki style.
