Tagalog is our national language and different from Ilonggo it is a regional language that use a lot of spanish words though different in spelling at times. It took me 35 years to realize the bulk of spanish words in my everyday conversation: blusa, la'mesa, llave, mecaniko, incluyendo muy popular maldiciendo: hijo de puta. Por cierto, Espana nos colonizaron durante 333 anos... no pocos anos. Una historia triste que fue.
