I have been struggling with this.I have a tendency to express myself "too" freely and be "too much" of myself around people who I think of as friends. Perhaps because we have become so accustomed to anonymity and compartmentalization of personalities, people only seem to want to see the airbrushed, "perfect" side of a person. We live in a disposable society where we are always being rated. It's a rare person who can let you be your whole self and stick around, even when your mood doesn't suit.
@thrivesurvive :) I love your transparency! I agree in loving the whole rather than just certain "ingredients", but that takes us loving that in ourselves first. So... I am LOVING my grumpy lazy moods! :)

Lori I am so happy you shared this. For the past 2 weeks I have been battling to stay out of depression for relational as well as financial reasons. I am so happy I watched this video to hear "The one true love i was always looking for was me" so deep, i rly needed to hear that. Thank you.

Lori your so brave, I want to diminish my fears and allow myself to post my own videos on youtube. I feel like my "secrets" contain the information that I should be sharing with people. Thanks for always being an inspiration and I hope to soon inspire people as you do.

Great video, I realize a little while ago that I was always trying to be want other wanted me to be. I'm a big reader and people are always telling me things I should do. I decided to listen to everything that people have to say, but only use what works for me and ask the Lord to guide me. Happy New Years to you and Thanks for sharing.
