Oooh, ooooh sweeeeeet, so delicate and thin. A young lady who built a pair gave us the tip that if you put a strip of padding between the toe joint and foot pad you can kill a lot of clanking.
Your construction is way better than ours, nice clean cuts and more exact workmanship--it obviously pays off.
Ah, I meant to reply to this lots sooner! I wanted to say thank you-- without your blueprints and videos these would never have been possible. I had the benefit of working with my roommate, who had a whole industrial workshop full of tools and machines to make the pieces come together. I wanted them to be a little more thin, since I'd be furring and foaming leg shapes over them. I wish I had video of the end result, they turned out very very awesome! Thank you again!
How long can you walk for in those? Just a few minutes, or hours?

From what I've heard, a strip of foam between the toe-piece and main foot stops that (its wood on wood making noise)

how do you attatch the shoes to the stilts? the one atempt i made i nailed them to the boards but im shure theres a better way.
