@DaveThatGuy These corporations are not only fueling the cycle of child labour, but are taking business away from Africa. Someone needs to set up a company in Africa that will produce the chocolate in the same continent that its from. Someone needs teach this bastards whats theres!
Thankyou so much for posting! I'm in year 10 and completing a multimedia presentation on Fair trade. This has definitely given me some pointers! Great work!!
Excellent video on the underground world of chocolate. Fair Trade is finally catching on in the U.S. Europe is further along in the awareness of the cocoa slave trade. If we begin to look at the labels and question how our food is processed and were it comes from, we would be a more compassionate society. The bottom line should not be the decision factor for consumers or corps when it comes to others misery. My only negative comment is that the music drowned out the dialog.
As I mentioned the conditions on the plantations are horrible. They starve there, and they are forced to do slave labour. So there are a lot of better solutions. Imagine your self or another young person you know in that position, and then honestly tell me that you do not find anything wrong with this situation.

This is a well done piece. The music was distracting though. Maybe you should repost it without the music in the background.
