Nice work btw, question about the trees in the foreground. When you apply the white to the branches how do you get the white to really stand out? Also what color are the trees? Thanks!
@Heromis191 I use a blending stump to blend the oil pastels. It is just compost paper compressed into a pencil like shape. You can find them at any hobby and craft store.
@KnightChigo23 I have so many different colors. I also blend and mix a lot of them. So being able to tell you exactly what colors were used would be very difficult.
you know all of the art I have been watching you draw literally is breath taking!!! I mean its the most amazing I have seen!! do you have an offical web page were you sell your art. even if you do because I really wan't some of your drawings
@pebblesrocks2000 I was coding a website and was going to try and incorporate something like that. I have since not worked on it that much. Ill have to look for a free weekend to finish doing that.
i would appreciate one thing, though. it would be great, if u could slow the video down to a running time of maybe 5 to 6 minutes, so we could actually exactly see what u r doing with what color.
Hey crayon pastels ? And what did you use to smudge?? And one more thing , if you could could you do a tutorial on how to do pine trees with those tools?
@eqgirl23 I am curious as to the idea of where you got that i used crayon pastels. I used oil pastels for this drawing. I used blending stumps for the blending. It is hard to do a tutorial with the oil pastels that i use because the brand that I use is probably the most expensive one on the market. Right now they run for nearly 4 dollars for each stick of oil pastels. But, I will do what I can.
@TylersArtShack hahahaha you're probably curious as to the idea of where i thought you used crayon pastels most likely because crayon pastels don't exist... i just couldn't think of their name!! but i got out my box of "crayon pastels" and rediscovered that they're called oil pastels. so my bad :) i thought they were crayon pastels beacuse they just look like crayons :p
@kazanjianm Haha. Thank you merrill. I just could not let today go by without spreading a little holiday cheer. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Amazing job! I would like to ask you what kind of white colour do you use... Thank you very much
cloneofatb 1 week ago
@cloneofatb it is just a white oil pastel made by sennelier. All the oil pastels in this video are made by them.

what do you use for blending? a white color?
JANNAxRAWR 3 weeks ago
@JANNAxRAWR blending stump. A white color would reduce the pigment of a color making it less vibrant.
