If you're carrying a pistol that's essentially a hundred years old, the designers did something right. And the Springfield 03 is still used as a reliable hunting rifle.

im not a weapon expert, i just know that all guns kill, shotguns are mostly used on close range (it still kills people) snipers are for ranged (which still kills people) and automatic machine guns also kills on medium or long range, even close range (which as i mentioned kills). so when a psycopath runs after you with a gun, will you turn around to look and see what kind of gun it is, or keep running?

Yeah, just to show how badass men used to be, before California decided to try to make us all shop for shoes and smoke marijuana, look up how Sergeant Baker died during the Pacific Campaign. The American position was overrun, and Baker's Thompson AND a BAR he picked up ran out of ammo. He was shot in the leg and couldn't keep running. Knowing his men would die carrying him, he took a loaded pistol and told them to keep going. Proped against a tree, he killed 8 Japanese with that pistol.

If you're carrying a pistol that's essentially a hundred years old, the designers did something right. And the Springfield 03 is still used as a reliable hunting rifle.

In all honesty I am simply glad to see a piece of that historic era forever emblazoned with the thunder of drums and the depth of the singers voice to recall AN important point in the one of thee worst points of humanity.
Like Bards of the middle ages bringing forth tales of glory and honor, pain and survival in lyrical forms, metal has found it's place in History and it with our memories and memorials will forever recall the events of the change of the Era.

@sdkfz162kingtiger thats totally not true. This war wasnt important at all and USA just won, because they startet a nuclear attack. So everything reached in this war found a sudden end, when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed. America hastnt won a war honest so far and in my eyes, theyre not better than france^^
And pls, plsssssss dont put the totally unimportantness of this battle over some like Trafalgar or so.

Er hatte einige Mängel... wäre er Fehlerfrei gebaut worden, wäre er um einiges besser drann gewesen.
Die Panzerkomandeure verhassten die Königs Tiger... Er war einfach nicht ausgereift und hatte zuviele Produktionsfehler...
